INTRODUCTION In an organization like dermal clinic, there are various aspects that needs proper consideration; hence appropriate procedures are required to be developed for the same. In the subsequent study, literature review was conducted through electronic database and majorly 38 articles were selected for the same purpose. The research work also states that specific phobias affect women more as compared to men and it usually appears from childhood to adulthood. Thus, in the research work importance of psychotherapy is being discussed that helps in assisting people to deal with phobias. However, on the other hand study done by Kaptein, Fischer & Scharloo (2014), contends that it is difficult to differentiate among specific phobias and normal childhood fears. For instance90% children between the age of 2-14 have at least one specific fear; however, it do not affect daily functioning; but still it requires psychological treatment. For instance- a patient who is having issues related to depression needs to get prominent support in all domains so that health aspects can be managed suitably. Henceforth, in this respect nurses at dermal clinic are required to consider the importance of psychological treatment as then only specific phobia can be treated suitably.
