From Your President Programs to Help Your Agency Are you getting the most out of your Insurors of Tennessee and Big "I" memberships? There are a multitude of products and services available to you from both our state and national Associations. Big "I" Markets The staff has worked hard over the last few months to familiarize themselves with all of the products and services offered including Big "I" Markets, Trusted Choice and RLI. Big "I" Markets offers a wide array of products and services to fill those areas that you may need help in. From Bonds to Commercial Flood to Pollution Insurance they have a broad product offering that is constantly being updated for the latest coverages and products in the marketplace.
TrustedChoice.com & Marketing Since I updated the TrustedChoice.com search criteria for my office we have seen an increase in the number of leads we receive and have written several policies both personal and commercial. Big "I" has spent millions of dollars to enhance the TC.com platform and the search optimization for its member agents. This has led to an increase in both the numbers and quality of the leads being generated to us. In order to make the most of their site, our search criteria needs to be updated to match the appetite of the individual agency. In addition, the Trusted Choice brand has developed a whole suite of content that you can use for your agency. You can also apply for marketing reimbursement money, either for using the Trusted Choice logo on your materials or for your digital marketing and website update efforts. This is another area the staff can be of assistance to our member agencies. RLI PUPs Our personal umbrella policy (PUP) program through RLI offers a great monoline option to write PUPs for your insureds. With some carriers tightening their appetite on umbrellas, this is a great market to access.
Errors & Omissions Coverage E&O insurance is another resource our member agencies should be taking advantage of through our program. Our Director of For-profit, Stephen Holmes, is an E&O specialist and is great at looking at your current policy and comparing it to the policy offered by Westport. Not all policies are equal, and our E&O coverage is not something we should be taking for granted and assuming all are the same. Give Stephen a call and get him to assess your E&O.
New CEO's Efforts Our new CEO, Ron Travis, is doing a fantastic job. He has now reached out to every member in the state, and while he has not connected with all of you, I think many of you have talked with him. I’ve had several members reach out to me to say how nice it was to have the CEO reach out to them just to say hello and ask what we can do for you. If you have not yet talked to Ron I would encourage you to give him a call and introduce yourself. Ron is fully engaged and selling Insurors every chance he gets.

Save the Date for Annual Convention By now you should have received your "Save the Date" card for our Convention in Florence. Alabama at the Marriott Shoals Hotel and Spa. After a year of no travel and endless quarantines I’m sure everybody is ready to get out and see friends we haven’t seen in over a year. Look for more information to come on all of the opportunities at this year’s convention, taking place on October 16-19.
