New Intec online ‘Factory Outlet’ shop opens its doors… Intec from time to time has stock that cannot be sold through our global distribution channels. Intec has decided to make available this ‘B grade stock’ through our online ‘factory outlet shop’.

So, for a number of reasons - which we will make clear in the product descriptions - we may have products we cannot sell as new in the Intec warehouses in UK, USA, Australia and France. These products when available will be announced through the factory outlet and sold on a first come first served basis. The factory outlet will never sell new stock – it is purely an outlet for occasional ‘B grade stock’ that needs a home. All products have to be collected - shipped from the relevant Intec office and paid for in the currency appropriate to that Intec office. Prices exclude taxes and delivery which need to be paid in addition as appropriate. Products will come with 12 month’s return to factory outlet warranty. Examples of products you may find in the Factory Outlet are: EX-DEMONSTRATION MODELS: These will be products used for showroom demonstration and sample production. EX-EXHIBITION MODELS: Products that have been used at exhibitions and are sold as used equipment. FACTORY RE-PACKS: Sometimes product arrives in our warehouse and the packing has been damaged and so the products are checked and repacked in plain / unbranded packing. REPAIRED DAMAGED STOCK: Sometimes we have stock that arrives damaged which we repair and re-box. OLDER MODELS: This is stock that is a non-current version or end of line product.

Having sampled a number of digital printer brands as a suitable replacement, the ColorSplash CS4200 was found to be by far the best for handling heavy stock covers. It also delivered much better image quality than the short-listed models. Successful road trip for Intec USA Taking Intec to the people Intec USA were extremely proactive in June, in taking the Intec product range out on the road to meet new prospects!
“We travelled the state of Virginia for one week, from Roanoke to Richmond. I made the road trip with Shawn Harter, the son of IntoPrint’s owner Mike Harter.” said Mike Sparbeck, Intec COO. 12 locations were visited with system demonstrations at each venue from the trailer – including five universities and eight commercial printers.
