Full label print and finishing system for Eire print firm Bandon Office Supplies, of Laragh in southern Ireland, purchased a full LPS215 label printing and finishing solution after a personal demo at our UK head office showroom.
Robert Merrick, of Bandon Office Supplies (BOS), had be contemplating the choice of a label printing and finishing system for around two years - before discovering Intec and making their final choice on the Intec LP215. Robert says, “We have looked at various different types of system and found that ‘laser’ suited my customers’ demands the best. The advantages of light fastness and being waterproof over inkjet, (which is a water-based ink), is paramount.

Intec were most helpful in posting an excellent pack of samples, which convinced us we needed to see the machines in action. We paid a visit to their newly refurbished UK showroom, and enjoyed a half-day intensive testing of the equipment - which sealed the deal. The high-quality definition of the laser printing overcame the main issue on our current inkjet technology, which was the clarity of smaller fine text.
Furthemore, this solution enables us to supply the finished labels on rolls, which is exactly what our customers had been demanding! The fantastic combination of the LP215 label printer and the LCF215 label finisher will get us started on our roll to roll label business - and fulfil our main market objective to supply short to medium run lengths of high quality contour-cut labels.”

Maritime publishers Push the boat out with ColorSplash CS4000
When maritime book and chart publishers, Brown, Son and Ferguson of Glasgow, Scotland, set sail to invest in a new printer - Intec was their first port of call.
Brown, Son and Ferguson have been nautical publishers, printers and ships’ stationers since 1832. In their online shop you will find nautical textbooks both technical and non-technical, books about the sea, historical books, information on old sailing ships and even how to build model ships. Having produced their print work on three Intec printers over the past 10 years, the publishers are not so much, ‘ancient mariners’ as ‘modern pioneers’ in print. Having been extremely happy with both Intec machines, they wanted to explore the latest offerings in our current Intec range. “We’ve been delighted, (again), with our new Intec printer - and also the support and service, which we’ve come to expect and enjoy”. Rab McKeachan

Peter Swann, Intec UK sales manager, says, “I recommended the ColorSplash 4000 to meet the firms needs - and since installation in July, they tell me they’ve already noticed faster turnaround on jobs, higher quality output, and they’re also starting to see much lower page costs. So, it’s ‘anchors a-weigh’ for the next leg of this historic firm’s journey in print”.
