Honoured to attend China Print ’17 Intec Printing Solutions were delighted to support our China distributors, Weihai Printing Co. Ltd. at China Print ’17.
Held at the New China International Exhibition Centre, Beijing - the expo comprised 8 halls and 11 temporary outdoor halls covering over 160,000 square meters of exhibition space. Weihai was showing the new ColorCut contour cutting system together with the LP215 label printer and LCF215 label cutter. The show was extremely well attended and Wehai enjoyed a great deal of interest in the Intec products especially for the new ColorCut and its unique capabilities. Whilst not on show the new ColorFlare CF1000LX drew considerable interest through the many samples available and Weihai expect some early sales of these systems.

Maternity unit completed, thanks to your help! Thanks to the contributions passed on from every Intec consumable purchased over the past three years, Intec and our customers, have played a major role in building the new maternity unit in Burkina Faso, which opened on 18 February 2017.
When building work originally began on the medical centre, the land had kindly been given by the town mayor to I.N. for this specific use. The whole area has since grown in size and covers two districts of Bobo Dialassou, Colma 1 and Colma 2.
The official opening ceremony, where all the medical staff and the visiting team wore shirts made by a local tailor to mark the occasion and even a local TV News Station turned out.
The consultation building and the pharmacy/laboratory building were first to be completed in the overall development - and in 2014 alone, the clinic served 9,483 people and delivered 308 babies safely - a massive improvement from the huge mortality risks suffered by infants and mothers previously! But we cannot stand still, as the capacity for births can be trebled… The addition of the new and dedicated maternity ward, will now help to greatly increase the number of expectant mothers that can be provided for. This means that the medical centre will be far more able to meet the growing needs of all the surrounding villages.
One of the first mothers who’s child was delivered at the new maternity unit
The dignitaries attending the ceremony included the governor of the region and many business people

Danny Morris, National Director of International Needs UK
“Not only would the potential capacity be increased, but it will also increase the number of lives we can save. With the addition of a dedicated ward - with all the necessary equipment - we are now able to challenge the currently unfavourable statistics.” Danny Morris National Director International Needs UK
