OFFICE GROUP OF MALTA BECOME NEW INTEC PARTNER As a small island, Malta is a surprisingly busy hive of industry and commerce and an ideal opportunity for volume printer sales.

FOUNDATIONS AT MATERNITY UNIT IN BURKINA FASO, NOW IN!
Great news! Foundations for the maternity unit, (Intec’s sponsored project), were started in July and are making good progress. It was the rainy season at the time, which allowed the workers to dig the required 1.5m depth. The foundations are now almost complete, the next stage is to start building the walls. Digging out the foundations during the rainy season
Increasing Numbers The average monthly number of newborns has gone from 25 in 2014 to 45 per month in the first 6 months of this year. The maternity unit will add much needed toilets and a bathroom, two delivery suites and a pre-natal and ante-natal facility. The number of people visiting the centre for all treatments has dramatically increased - 145% over the previous year - from January to June 5,500 people have been helped either through the pharmacy, general consultation, ultrasound scans, lab testing and blood analysis. At the moment the lab is very busy with malaria cases and the equipment provided for blood analysis has proved vital. Overview from the charity As Danny Morris, National Director for the charity explains: “This growth is as the charity had predicted; the centre was completed with the basic facilities in 2012 and the area was rapidly expanding as many people streamed in from rural areas to live on the outskirts of Bobo. There were no medical facilities other than one
More mothers are feeling confident to make their way to the clinic to give birth
Government clinic too expensive for most poorer people. Word has spread and the clinics service is gaining a very good reputation from the team of midwives operating there and word of mouth is increasing the attendance
owing to the unit being regarded a safe place to deliver - which is an amazing comfort to these mothers. Thank you again, for all your continued support.
Donations to the charity are generated when Intec consumables are purchased
