Kristoffer Kristofferson (born June 22, 1936) is an American singer, songwriter, musician and actor. He wrote and recorded the hit songs “Me and Bobby McGee,” “For the Good Times,” “Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down” and “Help Me Make It Through the Night.” In 1985, Kristofferson joined fellow country artists Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson & Johnny Cash in forming the country music supergroup The Highwaymen. In 2004, Kristofferson was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Kris Kristofferson remembers immortality. “Nothing could kill me,” he says, recalling his 1960s days in Nashville, when he roared for years on end, somehow finding time amidst the chaos to change the

language of country music. “I was rolling cars and wrecking motorcycles, drinking and doing everything I could to die early. But it didn’t work.” Didn’t work at all. Kristofferson is 76 now and on his 28th album, the aptly titled Feeling Mortal. Kristofferson is a Country Music Hall of Famer who ranks among the most versatile of American talents. He’s been a Golden Gloves boxer, a Rhodes scholar, a college football player, an acclaimed actor, a military officer, a helicopter pilot, a Grammy-winner, a screw-up and an icon, and now he finds himself releasing the third Don Wasproduced album in a twilight years trilogy. Feeling Mortal follows 2009’s Closer To The Bone and 2006’s This Old Road in examining hard-won grace.

Aaron Lewis (born April 13, 1972) is an American musician, who is the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and founding member of the rock group Staind, with whom he has released seven studio albums. He has since ventured into country music with his debut solo EP Town Line, which was released on March 1, 2011 on Stroudavarious Records. Lewis’ first full-length solo release, The Road, was released by Blaster Records on November 13, 2012. Lewis grew up, largely, in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, then moved to the Forest Park

section of nearby Springfield from 8th grade through high school. Lewis has been performing solo acoustic shows since he was 17 and still does today. Lewis is currently working on material for his second full-length solo album, which he hopes to have released in 2016. Lewis has been performing some of this new material live. Song titles include: “That Ain’t Country”, “Northern Redneck”, “Mama”, “Lost and Lonely”, “Sinner”, “I Lost It All”, and “Stuck in These Shoes”.

If Turnpike Troubadours are playing in your town, you’ll know it. A block or two from the venue, you’ll see the crowds lining up. Get closer and you’ll start to hear the music rockin’ hard, lashed by burnin’ fiddle and guitar, maybe a little rough on the edges but with a deep-rooted soul that’s impossible to resist. And if you make it through the door, you’ll witness one of the best shows you’ll ever see. Audiences in their home state of Oklahoma and down in Texas have known this for years. It’s no longer news when they draw 5,000-plus at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, sell out three nights in a row at Gruene Hall or turn several hundred away at the Legendary Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin. Word has spread, though: Their shows in Chicago, St. Louis and elsewhere have pulled in more than 1,000 fans. And they’ve drawn full houses at Joe’s Pub in New York and

The Troubadour in L.A., among many other nightspots from coast to coast. They’ve even been picked by Playboy as one of three acts to watch in 2015 -- a distinction lead singer/ guitarist/songwriter Evan Felker admits is “pretty bizarre” but impressive nonetheless. So is that the story? “The Turnpike Troubadours Tear It Up Night After Night”? Actually, no. There’s another side to singer/guitarist Felker, bassist RC Edwards, fiddler Kyle Nix, steel and electric guitarist Ryan Engleman and drummer Gabe Pearson. Maybe you don’t notice it as much at their shows, where their blazing performances tend to obliterate detached reflection. But you’ll definitely notice it on their new album, The Turnpike Troubadours, to be released September 18th on their Bossier City imprint.

Reflection is the catalyst to coming full circle. Texas country singer-songwriter Kevin Fowler took a couple of years to take stock of his artistic career, launch his own record label, then write and record How Country Are Ya? the old-fashioned way. How Country Are Ya? – Fowler’s seventh studio album and his first for Kevin Fowler Records in a joint venture with Nashville’s Thirty Tigers - is the good-timing, traditionsteeped and honky-tonk-stomping Amarillo native’s return to basics effort. A year in the making, the album features 15 fresh tunes (he wrote all of them except for the raucous instrumental “Mousturdonus“) and was produced by Ken Tondre, Fowler’s drummer, at Tondre’s The Compound Recording Studio in Austin.

One of the most potent songs on How Country Are Ya? is “Panhandle Poorboy,” a completely autobiographical piece that’s clearly the centerpiece of Fowler’s mindset during the creation of the disc. Simply put, he wanted to come back home. “The last couple of records have been on Nashville record labels,” Fowler said, referring to 2007’s Bring It On, released on Equity Music Group, and 2011’s Chippin’ Away, released on Average Joe’s Entertainment.

To prove just how much of an impact Brushville can have, they entered the BATTLE FOR THE SADDLE at Nashville, Tennessee’s legendary Wildhorse Saloon in 2012. Out of the over 300 national bands that entered, Brushville came out on top and was selected the winner by a panel of top industry professionals including Michael

Knox (the man credited with “discovering” talents such as Jason Aldean, John Rich and Gretchen Wilson). Their current, debut album, produced by multiple GRAMMY® winning, PLATINUM producer Kyle Lehning (Randy Travis), is a solid effort and has been getting major industry attention. In its first week of release, the album charted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseeker chart (North East Central) and #22 on iTunes TOP Country Albums chart! Included on the CD are songs written by some of the best songwriters in Nashville including Tyler Farr (“Redneck Crazy”) who co-wrote the band’s debut single “Baby’s Got Her Boots On” which peaked at #76 on the Music Row chart.

In her brazen new single “Daddy’s Money,” Brooke Eden concisely lays out her doctrine: work hard, use what you have and never ever rely on someone else for your success. In songs like “Daddy’s Money” and the clever girl-power anthem “Sunday Morning,” as well as live onstage, Brooke is a confident and commanding vocalist, poised to follow in the footsteps of her chief country inspiration and BBR Music Group labelmate, Jason Aldean.

The Bogart Jones Band creates handcrafted, no boundaries, stories and music. A family of brothers from different mothers with diverse musical backgrounds, making “New Music with an Old Soul”. 2016 is shaping up to be an incredible year for the band!! One thing is for sure... the band just released an album, “14th & Willow” they are VERY proud of! The Band started the year.... opening up

for Legendary Southern Rockers, 38 Special, in February and is looking forward to more gigs and festivals this spring and summer! Wes Simmons leads the group with his truthful, from the heart songwriting along with guitarist, producer, engineer Ryan Rose and Drummer Tim Fiers. These three had a vision of creating a musical labor of love we are calling “14th & Willow”.....12 tunes from the “stacks” of material Wes has written in the last few decades were selected and recording and producing began in 2014.

Dedicated. Focused. Mature. Passionate. Those are words generally used to describe someone much older than 17. But that’s exactly how one would describe Tasji Bachman. Her close friends also describe her as energetic, creative, kind, and ambitious. Tasji, a 17 year old singer/songwriter from Stark County, Illinois, has had a dream of becoming a country music star for half her life. Due to her father’s career opportunities, she has lived in Joliet and Normal, Illinois

prior to moving to Stark County. These varied, early life experiences from the Crossroads of America – including emergency lifesaving surgery at age 5, have positively influenced her culture and values. She is very appreciative and humbled by all of those who have blessed her with mentoring and continue to provide guidance and support to her in life and in her rising music career.

Growing up, DEVIN CLEMONS was constantly surrounded by music. He shares, “My mother can sing like you would not believe. In the car or as we made cookies and whatnot as a child, it seemed like everywhere we went we were singing or dancing around.” Clemons’ uncle is his greatest influence in music. “My uncle Wayne Clemons could sing, write songs and play guitar like the best of them. He bought me my first guitar and I’ve never put it down since.” While he recognized that he had a passion, it wasn’t until attending his first concert that Clemons realized he could pursue a career as an entertainer for a living. “From singing in the tub, singing in the car or even singing down the hallways at school, I knew it was in me. But the first time I saw Eric Church play a concert live was when I

realized that you could make a living at doing what you love. I always loved to sing but never thought it to be a reality that I can do it for a living.” He recalls his first time getting on stage to play his own show. “My very first show was at a club called The Forum in Macomb, Illinois. We opened up for a red dirt country act called the Casey Donahue Band. I was 24 years old, never played a show in my life in front of people and there were 800 in attendance. I remember standing backstage shaking like a leaf! My boys took the stage and started playing the music waiting for me to walk out. I knew I could not let the boys down and not walking on that stage wasn’t an option. Stepping out onto that stage was the best decision that I’ve ever made!”

Formed in Chicago back in 1998, The Steepwater Band’s signature sound is a nod to early British blues, combined with a modern, raw and gutsy musical approach. Founding members Massey, Bowers and Winters have a synergy that comes from years of playing together. Then in early 2012, the long-time trio was joined by Saylors, from Indianapolis, IN, who brought an added depth to the TSB LIVE sound. Although the band got their start as devotees of delta

The duo has been together since 2000 and Outlaw, which is their fifth album since signing with Average Joe’s Entertainment, is a watershed effort from The LACS that sonically broadens their musical scope and blends together every genre from traditional country and southern rock to rap and spoken word.

But it’s their true-to-life lyrics that paint a series of authentic compositions depicting the life of a pair of hillbillies from South Georgia. “We love writing about stories that we’ve lived,” said King, of their biographical 12song effort that could prove to be a breakthrough of sorts. Still Shine, formed in the summer of 2014, is a band of like minded top notch musicians who play original and obscure traditional down home tunes that move body and soul.

If you want to know Josh Thompson, just listen to the lyrics of his music. Thompson showcases his undeniable gift for writing with songs like the anthemic “Way Out Here,” or the unapologetic “Blame It On Waylon,” and on his upcoming projects, the “aw, shucks” admittance of “Same Ol’ Plain Ol’ Me,” the nod to his humble background, “Daddy Had A Beer,” and the breathtakingly poignant “I Like To Believe In That.” They’re songs born of a hard-working, blue-collar raising. The son of a Wisconsin concrete worker, destined to follow in the steel-toed boots of a laborer, Josh veered to the left when he picked up a guitar, but he didn’t quite realize the course he had steered himself down until much later. “I got a guitar for my birthday when I was 21 years old. I

asked my parents for it because I wanted to play songs around the campfire,” he explains. “There had been people in my circle of family and friends who would play around the campfire and I always thought that would be really awesome. I wanted to learn to play Merle Haggard and Tom T. Hall songs.” Before long it wasn’t enough to just play guitar and sing around the campfire. Like the stone cold country icons that he grew up listening to and admiring, Josh had something to say. “What made me want to play guitar and write songs was what attracted me to country music. People like George Jones, Merle Haggard, Hank Senior, Jimmie Rodgers, Hank Snow and Lefty Frizzell. That was the country I was first introduced to.”

JOE STAMM BAND

Born and raised in the fields and fence rows outside Metamora – a small community in central Illinois – Stamm was raised to appreciate the outdoors, God, family, and about everything else that can be expected in a country music artist’s biography. Unexpectedly, though, music did not play a large role in Joe’s early life, emerging only when he had to take a music course to graduate college. Growing up, Joe’s focus revolved around athletics, most notably football, which earned him a full ride scholarship to play quarterback for Northern Illinois University. His career was cut short, though, by injury, enduring 4 shoulder surgeries. The years that followed found Stamm searching – searching for a new identity, new hobbies, new pursuits and points of focus. He poured himself into academics, hunting & trapping, his childhood faith, partying and burning candles at both ends. The

conflicts and dualities Joe battled and entertained later inspired much of his songwriting, which discovered in his last semester of college, shortly after taking an introduction to guitar class. Music did not sort everything out for Stamm – he does not claim it to be any type of savior or magical answer to life. But playing guitar, singing and writing songs gradually took over much of his focus, providing a creative outlet where a short lifetime of conflicting interests, beliefs, desires & pursuits could intermingle and emerge as song - as story set to music. And in these stories, you will find his childhood, his parents’ divorce, the corn field he grew up on, the timber he walked, the friends he partied with, the people he disappointed and those he made proud, his victories, his losses, and everything in between.

Rick Monroe is a travelin’ man. Born in Florida, he grew up in a variety of places — California, Connecticut, Kansas, North Carolina, even England. After settling in Nashville and launching his career, the young singer/songwriter perftormed in every state except Oregon (an omission he aims to rectify soon). He’s sung the National Anthem during Fourth of July celebrations in Vietnam, performed in more than a dozen countries and entertained former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, who expressed his thanks by kissing Monroe on the cheek and calling him “pop star.” Many artists are drawn to country music while spending their formative years in one place, maybe a small town or a family farm. Paradoxically, it was Monroe’s peripatetic life

that led him to the genre. “I guess it was my escapism,” he admits. “I learned to adapt as we moved to different places. And music gave me something to hold onto through it all.” Committed fully to music, Monroe went to Los Angeles and enrolled in the Musicians Institute, where he concentrated on vocal studies. He also started picking up gigs in local country bars. Monroe relocated to Nashville and began building his career. On a shoestring budget, he recorded a debut album, AGAINST THE GRAIN and cut his first video on “The Midnight Rider.” He learned on the job how to work the business side of music, culminating in long-term relationships with his various sponsors.

ROBERT BROWN BAND The Robert Brown Band is a 3-piece Rock band based out of Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, poised to launch a fresh, invigorated take on American Rock n’ Roll. JAMESON RODGERS Jameson Rodgers was born and raised in Batesville, MS. If you would have asked Jameson what he wanted to be when he was a kid, he would have told you a country singing baseball player. He had a serious passion for both. When he finished his baseball career at Northwest Mississippi Community College, he took a road that led to the University of Southern Mississippi.

There, he developed a love for songwriting and performing at bars with a band named Silky Smooth. It wouldn’t take long before he moved to Nashville to pursue the dream even further. Some of his biggest influences are Travis Tritt and John Mellancamp. Be on the lookout for this Mississippi Native in the near future.

MATT POSS BAND For over a decade, the members of Matt Poss Band have been doing things their own way, bucking the mainstream and playing by their own rules, straddling the fence between country and rock as if they invented the concept. Frequently on the road, MPB is steadily proving that an “overnight success” can take a while to accomplish. Based in the Midwest, the group has spent the last decade zigzagging across the United States, touring Europe twice and hitching rides on all sorts of military aircraft to entertain our troops in Saudi Arabia and ‘downrange’ Afghanistan. Mixing elements of country, bluegrass, rock and blues, MPB has earned a passionate and diverse fan base that continues to grow, and it’s about as organic as it can get. Cowboys, rednecks, truckers, hippies, bikers and yuppies can be found arm-in-arm singing along toMPB songs like

Three Bricks Shy and Jack Rabbit. Each fan is won by live performance or good old word of mouth. In the decade they’ve been together, they’ve released five full-length albums, with the last two being on the band’s own label - Bonfire Records. Over 10,000 albums sold is no small feat for any group in this digital day and age, but MPB has hit that mark and continues to chug along, one show and a few fans at a time. The latest album of original music, Greetings, was released in October of 2013. A compilation of hardcore country covers named Bonfire Bootlegs Volume 1 was recently released in late 2014. Despite a full schedule promoting the recent albums, the band is already carving out enough time to write and record their next batch of songs, which will end up in their early 2015 effort, a tribute to the troops named Beans & Bullets.
