On August 18, 2012, jazz musicians will converge on Rosa Parks Circle in beautiful downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, for the inaugural GRandJazzFest.

• GRandJazzFest will engage, entertain, educate and inspire new audiences with a diverse music art form.

GRandJazzFest will engage residents and visitors of all ages in inspiring live-jazz performances - and provide an opportunity to connect audiences with your organization.

• GRandJazzFest will feature world-class jazz musicians from Michigan. We'll provide a venue to celebrate jazz Michiganstyle! • GRandJazzFest has partnered with the West Michigan Jazz Society, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. • GRandJazzFest is pursuing co-sponsorship with the City of Grand Rapids, a distinction given to events that are recognized for delivering a positive community benefit.

• GRandJazzFest will provide direct positive economic impact by using local providers for production and support services for staging, sound equipment, security and other services.


What is GRandJazzFest?

GRandJazzFest is a free, one-day outdoor concert featuring Michigan jazz artists. GRandJazzFest will bring together internationally acclaimed jazz performers as well as up-andcoming artists. The festival will showcase a notable Michigan jazz headliner and five additional Michigan acts encompassing a wide range of jazz styles, including big band, Latin, straight-up classic and contemporary.
