ABOUT MOTIP
Whether it's about repairing damage on the car, tuning, cleaning or some technical support, the sprays of MOTIP are up to every problem. For decades, MOTIP has been known for its automotive paints in the original colours of cars. It even got its name from car damage repair with paint (MO = motor vehicle, TIP = tip of a touch up pencil).
The Kompakt paint system conquered Europe and MOTIP expanded its range with even more products such as putties, technical sprays, car body protective sprays, additives and car care products. With MOTIP each car owner can fix their car.

KOMPAKT
MOTIP Car Paint is a high quality, fast-drying lacquer for the repair of car parts, based on the original car colours. Car paint is very suitable for repairing scratches, stone chip damage and small dents.
Our Kompakt System includes various original car paint colours under one reference number (5-digit), which are identical in colour but which are given different references by different car manufactures grouped under one colour-code.

KOMPAKT TOOLS
For decades, MOTIP has been known for its car paint based on original car colour codes. With the help of the Colour Guide on motip.com or the Colourguide app, anyone can easily find the right paint colour using the colour code of the car.
The colour code can generally be found in the maintenance booklet and on the VIN sticker that is often put in several places in the car. The Colour Guide helps you to find the colour code of your car and advises you on the right colour from the Kompakt System.

Use MOTIP Sanding Key Aid as a fast-drying control layer when sanding primers and fillers on your car. Apply the Sanding Key Aid in a thin layer and let it dry. After sanding the marked surface, irregularities such as scratches and small holes (pinholes) remain black. These can then be easily removed with a suitable MOTIP filler.

BUMPER PAINT
HOW TO RESTORE THE BUMPER AND BUMPER STRIPS OF CARS?
1. The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. 2. Tape off an ample area around the surface when spraying directly on the car. 3. Shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and apply in several thin layers, untill the desired result has been achieved. Best processing temperature is 10 to 25°C. 4. After use, clean the valve. The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity of the air and the thickness of the lacquer applied.
