terry crews’s safe haven An au courant take on the classic wingback marks Bernhardt Design’s fifth collaboration with the multitasking talent, a designer and former NFL player who’s also an action-movie hero, sitcom star, and game-show host. “Belmont’s distinctive curved back reduces distractions and provides a place of peace and safety, which is something we can all use these days,” Crews says. “My goal was to have the back shelter you, as a collar protects us from the wind.” The lounge, with stainless-steel or carved-ash base, is spacious, deep, tall, and designed to be comfortable for virtually every body type. Upholstery is available in any Bernhardt fabric, leather, or COM. Touchdown! space 320
NYCxDesign Award–winning Blooma, a vinyl wallcovering for Wolf-Gordon, expresses the interior designer’s quintessential playfulness and characteristic use of color and unconventional scale. The delightfully bold digitally printed floral is inspired by vintage Swedish fabrics and is one of 13 introductions from six creatives for the manufacturer’s Curated collection. Blooma comes standard in a 52-by-48-inch repeat but is entirely customizable in color and scale by the company’s in-house technicians at WG Customs Lab. space 10-161

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec need no introduction, but what does is the French industrial designers’ new collection for Emeco, the U.S. manufacturer that got its start in World War II making seating out of scrap metal. Meet Truss, a family of go-anywhere tables and bench seating with an architectural bent. Emeco’s aluminum expertise is reflected in the recycled frame, made at the company’s factory in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Added to that are side panels in marine-grade Douglas Fir plywood, chosen for its strength completing the truss system. “Simplicity is a long process,” Erwan says. “Truss was to be naked, and it took a while to strip it down to the best minimum.” Safe to say the siblings nailed it. space 318
