Dear Friends, It is once again with great pleasure that I would like to invite you to partake in the 45th edition of the International Bromont which will be presented from July 22nd to August 2, 2020. This anniversary edition will once again allow us to present FEI events as well as national events in hunters, jumpers and riding.

Presented in the magnificent Bromont Equestrian Olympic Park, the International Bromont is a staple for Canadian and international riders and this year will be no exception. This prestigious competition will once again host riders and horses of exceptional talent as well as passionate spectators.

STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES Equestrian Canada (EC), the national equestrian federation of Canada, supports adherence to the humane treatment of horses in all activities under its jurisdiction. All Persons shall be committed to: • upholding the welfare of all horses, regardless of value, as a primary consideration in all activities; • requiring that horses be treated with kindness, respect and compassion, and that they never be subjec to mistreatment; • ensuring that all Equestrians including owners, trainers and competitors, or their respective agents, use responsible care in the handling, treatment and transportation of their own horses as well as horses placed in their care for any purpose; • providing for the continuous well-being of horses by encouraging routine inspection and consultation with health care professionals and competition officials to achieve the highest possible standards of nutrition, health, comfort and safety as a matter of standard operating procedure;

• providing current information on Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Equines and other equine health and welfare initiatives; • continuing to support scientific studies on equine health and welfare; • requiring owners, trainers and competitors to know and follow their sanctioning organization’s rules, and to work within industry regulations in all equestrian competitions; and actively promoting the development of and adherence to competition rules and regulations that protect the welfare of the horse.

The standard by which conduct or treatment will be measured is that which a person who is informed and experienced in generally accepted equine training and competition procedures would determine to be neither cruel, abusive, nor inhumane.

WELFARE OF THE HORSE The Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) expects all those involved in international equestrian sport to adhere to the FEI’s Code of Conduct and to acknowledge and accept that at all times the welfare of the horse must be paramount and must never be subordinated to competitive or commercial influences.

1. At all stages during the preparation and training of competition horses, welfare must take precedence over all other demands. This includes good horse management, training methods, farriery and tack, and transportation.

2. Horses and Athletes must be fit, competent and in good health before they are allowed to compete. This encompasses medication use, surgical procedures that threaten welfare or safety, pregnancy in mares and the misuse of aids.

3. Events must not prejudice horse welfare. This involves paying careful attention to the competition areas, ground surfaces, weather conditions, stabling, site safety and fitness of the horse for onward travel after the event.

4. Every effort must be made to ensure that horses receive proper attention after they have competed and that they are treated humanely when their competition careers are over. This covers proper veterinary care, competition injuries, euthanasia and retirement.

5. The FEI urges all involved with the sport to attain the highest levels of education in their areas of expertise.

DIVISIONS SAUT D’OBSTACLES JUMPER DIVISIONS Des vêtements appropriés (chemise et veston) sont requis du vendredi au dimanche dans le manège international et du samedi au dimanche dans le manège national.

Conformément aux règlements de Canada Équestre, les inscriptions horsconcours sont acceptées dans les épreuves de saut d’obstacles à la discrétion du comité organisateur. Un cheval ou un poney n’a le droit de participer horsconcours qu’une seule fois par jour dans un manège donné (G501).

Le couple cavalier/cheval ne peut s’inscrire que dans une seule épreuve Mini-Prix ou classique.

Le chien effectuera son trajet sur un parcours distinct immédiatement après que le cheval et son cavalier aient complété leur parcours. Selon les règlements FEI, la bourse sera attribuée à la combinaison cheval/cavalier dont l’ordre sera déterminé par le meilleur temps d’exécution du parcours de ces derniers. Le classement des rubans sera déterminé par la combinaison du temps des équipes cheval /cavalier et chien.

A dog will compete after each horse over a modified separate course. For the purpose of FEI regulations, the fastest time taken by the horse and rider combination in the first phase will determine the placings for prize money.

Ribbon placings will be determined by the fastest horse/rider and dog team.

1. The International Bromont competitions are sanctioned as a Platinum competition member of Equestrian Canada 308 Legget Drive, Suite 100, Ottawa, Ontario, K2K 1Y6 and are governed by the rules of EC. Every class offered herein is covered by the rules and specifications of the current rules of EC and will be held and judged in accordance with the EC Rule Book.

OBLIGATIONS DES PARTICIPANTS : a) Les propriétaires de chevaux, les athlètes et la personne responsable d’un cheval doivent être membres de leur fédération équestre nationale respective. Les propriétaires de chevaux et les athlètes doivent posséder une licence sportive de niveau or, platine (FEI) ou la licence sportive équivalente selon US Equestrian ou alors se procurer une Licence Sportive Temporaire. b) Les athlètes inscrits aux classes amateurs doivent posséder leur carte d’amateur. c) Les concurrents canadiens devront produire pour leur cheval une fiche d’identification numérique (passeport électronique), la licence du cheval et une licence sportive de niveau Or ou Platine, ou acquérir une licence temporaire pour ce niveau. Un affidavit devra être signé concernant l’éligibilité des chevaux des États-Unis et des autres pays. d) Conformément à l’article A801, par son inscription à un concours sanctionné par Canada Équestre, la personne responsable consent à ce que le propriétaire, le locataire, l’entraîneur, le gérant, l’agent, l’instructeur, le meneur ou le cavalier et le cheval soient assujettis aux dispositions des statuts et des règlements de Canada Équestre et à tout règlement supplémentaire établi par le concours. Chaque concurrent, en quelque qualité que ce soit, à un concours sanctionné par Canada Équestre est responsable de bien connaître les statuts et les règlements applicables de Canada Équestre, ainsi que tout règlement supplémentaire établi par le concours, s’il y a lieu. Ne participez pas à ce concours en quelque qualité que ce soit si vous refusez d’être assujetti aux statuts et aux règlements de Canada Équestre et à tout autre règlement établi par le concours. e) Tout cheval participant à un concours sanctionné par Canada Équestre doit satisfaire aux exigences de l’article A519, Vaccination. PARTICIPANTS’ OBLIGATIONS: a) All athletes, owners and persons responsible must be must be members of their respective country’s National Federation. All owners and athletes must hold a current EC Sport Licence Gold, Platinum (FEI) or the equivalent US Equestrian membership or otherwise purchase a temporary Sport Licence. b) All athletes competing in amateur classes must have a valid EC Amateur Card. c) Canadian entrants are required to provide an active Horse Recording, horse license and hold a Gold or Platinum level competitor’s sport license, or to buy a temporary upgrade. Horses from the USA can also provide the US Equestrian electronic horse recording. Participants from other countries must sign an affidavit regarding the horse eligibility for the required levels. d) Per Article A801, every entry at an EC-sanctioned competition shall constitute an agreement by the person responsible that the owner, lessee, trainer, manager, agent, coach, driver or rider and horse shall be subject to the EC constitution and all rules of EC and any additional rules set by the competition. It is the responsibility of all individuals participating in any capacity in EC-sanctioned competitions to be knowledgeable regarding the EC constitution and the applicable rules of EC and the additional rules, if any, imposed by the competition. Do not participate in this EC sanctioned competition in any capacity if you do not consent to be bound by the constitution and rules of EC and any additional rules imposed by the competition. e) All horses attending Equestrian Canada sanctioned competitions must have met the requirements of Article A519, Vaccinations. See Rules of Equestrian Canada, Section A, General Regulations, Article A519, Vaccinations.”

Les stalles annulées après le 20 juin 2020 ne sont pas remboursables. c) Toute demande d’emplacement spécial sera considérée, mais il n’est pas garanti que l’on puisse y donner suite. Le prix des stalles ne comprend pas la litière. d) Seul le comité organisateur est autorisé à louer des stalles aux participants. Les participants, écuries ou entraîneurs ne sont pas autorisés à relouer les stalles entre eux sans l’accord écrit du comité organisateur. Si une location de stalle est conclue entre des participants, écuries et entraîneurs, sans l’accord du comité, les stalles concernées seront facturées à chacun des participants, écuries ou entraîneurs selon leur formulaire de réservation/de modification/fiche d’inscription.

8. FRAIS DE TERRAIN ET SOIN DES CHEVAUX a) Toutes les inscriptions sans réservation de stalle se verront automatiquement facturer des frais de 50$ par jour pour utilisation du terrain. b) Les chevaux ne peuvent être laissés équipés ou être laissés sans surveillance dans une remorque. c) Si les conditions météorologiques sont mauvaises, aucun cheval ne devrait être laisser à l’extérieur. Il est possible de se renseigner au secrétariat pour une stalle d’une journée. d) Veuillez consulter le plan du site en ligne pour les indications relatives au stationnement des remorques.

9. RÉCEPTION DES INSCRIPTIONS Aucune inscription ne sera acceptée sans la signature de la personne responsable. Pour un concurrent mineur, la signature des parents ou d’un tuteur est requise pour valider l’inscription. Aucune inscription par téléphone ne sera acceptée. 11.RÉSERVATIONS & INSCRIPTIONS TARDIVES Les réservations de stalles et inscriptions tardives pourront être acceptées selon la disponibilité des stalles et l’approbation du CO, sous toutes réserves. 12. CHANGEMENT AU PROGRAMME a) Le comité organisateur de l’International Bromont se réserve le droit d’annuler ou de jumeler certaines classes, changer l’ordre des horaires, modifier les modalités du concours et même refuser toute inscription s’il le juge nécessaire. b) L’heure de départ approximative des épreuves sera mis à jour chaque soir à 21h pour le lendemain. c) Les horaires officiels seront publiés sur le tableau à côté du secrétariat chaque soir. Les horaires publiés sur Internet le sont à titre de référence seulement.

7. STALL RESERVATIONS a) The stall order reservation form must be received by the organization before June 20, 2020, and paid in full. These amounts are not refundable after June 20, 2020.

Tent stalls—$200 each per week.

Semi-permanent barn stalls—$225 each per week.

Permanent barn stalls—$260 each per week, exclusively for

horses competing in FEI classes. b) All requested changes on the stall list (additions, cancellations or any changes to the list of registered horses) must be done with the appropriate form. No requests for changes, additions or cancellations will be accepted over the phone. Additional stalls will be allocated according to availability by the organizing committee. Stalls cancelled after June 20, 2020, are non-refundable. c) Any request for a specific location will be considered, but there are no guarantees that we can accommodate applicants. The cost of stalls does not include bedding. d) The OC is the only one authorized to rent stalls to participants. Participants, barns or trainers are not allowed to rent stalls between themselves without the written authorization of the OC. If the renting of stabling occurs without the knowledge and approval of the OC, stalls will be billed to each participant according to their reservation/entry/modification form.

8. DAY TRAILER FEES AND HORSE CARE a) All registrations with no stall reservations are automatically charged a $50 ground fee per day. b) Horses cannot be left tacked or unattended at trailer. c) In case of inclement weather, no horses should be left outdoors. You can inquire at the office for daily stalls. d) Please see the ground map online for trailer parking areas.

9. ENTRIES No entry is accepted without the signature of the person responsible. For a minor participant, the signature of the parents or legal guardians is required to validate the entry. No entry is accepted over the phone. NON-SHOWING HORSE FEE Non-showing horses are given a show number that they must wear at all times. They are also subject to all EC rules and show grounds rules. A $100 fee per horse will be charged.

11. LATE STALL RESERVATIONS & LATE ENTRIES Late stall reservations and late entries may be accepted depending on stall availability and with the Organizing Committee’s approval, without prejudice.

12. PROGRAM CHANGE a) The International Bromont’s Organizing Committee reserves the right to cancel or combine classes, change their order on the schedule, change the terms of the competition or refuse any entry, as deemed necessary. b) Expected start times for classes will be updated every evening at 9P.M. for the following day. c) Official schedule will be posted on the show office board every evening. Schedules posted online are a reference only.

13. REFUSED ENTRY The Organizing Committee has the right to refuse any rider or registration if they do not conform to the rules of the show or to the Equestrian Canada Code of Conduct and Ethics.

14. NOMINATION Permet aux sauteurs de passer d’une division à une autre, chaque jour de compétition. Pour chaque cheval inscrit dans les épreuves de saut d’obstacles, les frais de nomination (175$) doivent être payés avant la date de clôture des inscriptions. Les chevaux mis en nomination après cette date devront payer des frais de nomination de 200$. Ces frais ne sont pas remboursables. Ceux qui désireront arriver avant cette date ou autres heures devront au préalable s’entendre avec les organisateurs du concours. Les certificats de vaccination pour tous les chevaux doivent être présentés à l’entrée du site avant que les chevaux aient accès au parc. b) Sauf entente avec le comité organisateur, les chevaux doivent quitter le site entre la fin des compétitions et 8h00 PM le dimanche.

16. HEURE DU SECRÉTARIAT & DÉCLARATION Les jours de compétitions, le secrétariat ouvrira 1 heure avant le début des épreuves et fermera à 18h00. Il sera également ouvert de 9h00 à 17h00 chaque mardi précédent la semaine du concours. Les déclarations pour les épreuves du lendemain fermeront chaque soir à 17h00.

17. HORAIRE DES COMMANDES a) Commande anticipée Il est possible de soumettre une commande anticipée pour la ripe, le foin et la nourriture en ligne jusqu’au 17 juillet 2020. Le formulaire peut être envoyé au comité organisateur par fax ou courrier. b) Commande sur le site de concours Durant le concours, les commandes se feront uniquement au secrétariat.

18. MODIFICATIONS ET AJOUTS D’INSCRIPTION a) Des frais de 10$ par classe seront imputés à l’ajout d’une classe moins de 24h avant le déroulement de celle-ci; b) Aucun frais ne sera imputé pour l’ajout d’une classe le jour précédant celle-ci avant la fermeture des déclarations; c) Des frais de 25$ seront imputés aux concurrents pour tout cheval monté dans une classe sans avoir été officiellement inscrit en plus du montant prévu pour l’inscription de cette classe. Les ajouts et modifications se font uniquement au secrétariat de concours sur les formulaires prévus à cet effet.

19. ANNULATION D’INSCRIPTION a) Les inscriptions annulées avant le premier jour du concours seront remboursées moins les frais d’administration, les stalles et les frais de nomination. b) Après le premier jour du concours, seules les épreuves annulées pour problèmes vétérinaires ou pour accident incapacitant du cavalier ne seront pas facturées. Un certificat émis par le vétérinaire du concours ou un médecin est requis.

20. BOURSES Les montants des bourses gagnées ($ canadiens) seront portés au crédit des comptes depuis le secrétariat.

14. NOMINATION FEE Nomination fees allow show jumpers to move from one division to another, any day of the competition. All horses registered in show jumping events must pay a nomination fee of $175 before the registrations’ closing date. Horses nominated after that date must pay a late nomination fee of $200. These fees are not refundable. These fees do not apply to horses registered in the following classes: #965-966-970-971-975-976 Young Horses 5, 6, 7 yrs old #880 François Ferland Medal #870 CET Medal #019-020-021-023-025 Schooling #910 to 922 JR-AM 0.90m, 1.0m & 1.10m 15. ARRIVAL & DEPARTURES a) Horses will be admitted: From 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. on Monday, July 20, 2020, for the 1st week From 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. on Tuesday, July 28th, 2020, for the 2nd week Horses will not be admitted after 7:30 A.M. on all competition days. Those wanting to arrive earlier than those dates or at other times must make prior arrangements with the OC. Vaccinations certificates for all horses must be presented at the gate before horses entering the site. b) Unless prearranged with the Organizing Committee, horses must leave the site between the end of competition and 8 P.M. on Sunday.

16. OFFICE HOURS & DECLARATIONS On competition days, the office will open one hour before the start of classes and close at 6 P.M.. It will also stay open from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. both Tuesdays preceding the show weeks. Declarations for the following day will close at 5 P.M. every evening.

17. SCHEDULE : SHAVING, HAY AND FEED ORDERS a) Pre-order Pre-orders for shavings, hay and feed can be placed online until July 17, 2020. A pre-order form can be faxed or mailed to the OC. b) On-Site Order During the show, orders can only be placed through the office. No other method will be accepted. For same day delivery orders must be placed before 2 pm from Tuesday to Friday. Orders close at 10 AM on Saturday.

No orders can be placed on Sunday.

18. REGISTRATION CHANGES AND ADDITIONS a) A $10 will be charged per class if the class is added less than 24 hours before it starts. b) No fee will be charged when adding a class on the previous day before the closing of declarations. c) A $25 fee will be charged competitors, in addition to the registration fees of the class, for any horse ridden in a class without being officially registered. Additions and cancellations can only be done at the show office by using the appropriate forms. No other method will be accepted. d) Any participant who does not show up for a class where he is officially registered, without cancelling as indicated above, will be charged for the class. Classes cancelled/scratched on the same day are non-refundable.

19. REGISTRATION CANCELLATIONS a) Fees for registrations cancelled before the first day of the show will be reimbursed, excluding administration,stalls and nomination fees. b) After the first day of the show, classes cancelled for veterinary reasons or incapacitating accident to the rider will not be charged upon presentation of a certificate issued by the show’s veterinarian or by a doctor.

20. PRIZE MONEY All prize money won ($CAD) will be credited to the accounts through the show office.

22. ENTRAÎNEMENT AVANT-CONCOURS Les mardis 21 juillet et 28 juillet 2020 : les deux manèges de chasse seront ouverts de 13h à 17h. Les frais seront directement ajoutés à votre facture ouverte, vous n’aurez qu’à vous présenter aux manèges d’entraînement. Le numéro de compétition est requis. Les règlements CE seront appliqués.

22. PRE-SHOW SCHOOLING On Tuesday, July 21 and July 28th, 2020, both hunter rings will open from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. The applicable fees will be added directly to your open bill.

You will need your competition number and you can just show up at the ring.

23. AIRES D’ENTRAÎNEMENT L’entraînement est permis uniquement dans les aires prévues à cet effet de 7h30 a.m., et se terminant 1 heure après la fin des classes. 23. SCHOOLING AREAS Schooling is permitted in designated areas only, starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending one hour after the end of classes. Anyone using the rings other than during scheduled time will incur a $50 fine. FEI schooling rules will be in force with the hunter exceptions.

26. DÉFAUT DE PRÉSENTATION AU DÉPART a) Une attente de 3 minutes sera allouée par les officiels et tout cavalier participant qui ne se présente pas dans ce délai sera éliminé. Cette règle sera appliquée sans exception. b) Les entraîneurs sont encouragés à se faire assister en fonction de leur nombre de cavaliers en concours afin de ne pas retenir le déroulement des activités. c) Nous demandons la collaboration des entraîneurs pour ne pas retenir les activités d’un manège lorsqu’ils sont retenus à cheval pour concourir dans une épreuve.

27. AIRES DE DOUCHE POUR LES CHEVAUX Les participants seront autorisés à doucher leurs chevaux aux endroits désignés seulement. Tout contrevenant se verra imputer une amende de 50$.

28. MARÉCHAL-FERRANT Un maréchal-ferrant est disponible sur le site tous les jours de compétition.

29. CHIENS Tous les chiens doivent être tenus en laisse et leurs déjection jetées à la poubelle. Une amende de 100$ sera imputée aux contrevenants. Nous vous remercions de votre collaboration pour un environnement propre et sécuritaire.

24. HUNTER To participate in a hunter division class, competitors must pay the entry fees for the whole division. Class sheets are available online.

25. JUMPER Orders of go will be determined on the night before the classes and must be respected by all participants, under penalty of elimination. Orders of go will be posted online.

26. NO SHOW a) Officials will tolerate a 3-minute delay and any rider not showing up within that time will be eliminated. This rule will be applied without exceptions. b) Coaches are encouraged to get assistance depending on the numbers of riders showing to ensure they do not unnecessarily delay classes. c) We ask the coaches’ collaboration not to hold up classes in one ring while they are detained competing in another class.

27. HORSE SHOWER AREAS Participants may shower their horses in designated areas only. All offenders will incur a $50 fine.

28. SHOW FARRIER A farrier is available on-site every day of competition.

29. DOGS All dogs must be on a leash, and their droppings disposed of in the garbage. All offenders will incur a $100 fine. We thank you for your co-operation towards a clean and safe environment.

30. CAMPING No camping is permitted on the show grounds, and RVs orcampers are forbidden.

Les inscriptions seront soumises à un frais anti-dopage de 46$ par cheval pour les divisions FEI et de 7$ par cheval pour les divisions OR.

31. EQUINE MEDICATION CONTROL All horses competing in any class of the show can be selected for a drug test at any time while on the competition grounds. Participants are charged a $46 drug fee per horse in FEI divisions and $7 per horse in Gold divisions.

32. CONTRÔLE ANTI-DOPAGE DES CAVALIERS Les cavaliers pourront être testés pour l’usage de produits proscrits ou soumis à certaines restrictionset tous les concurrents reconnaissent en s’inscrivant à la compétition qu’ils peuvent être testés. Les compétiteurs doivent se référer règlements de Canada Équestre et de la FEI au sujet du contrôle antidopage des cavaliers. Un résultat positif au test de dépistage de drogues entraînera la saisie des prix et bourses du cheval, de la personne responsable, des propriétaires, entraîneurs, cavaliers et palefreniers.

33. PORT DU CASQUE PROTECTEUR Toute personne à cheval ou menant un attelage sur les lieux d’un concours sanctionné par Canada Équestre, doit être coiffée en tout temps d’un casque protecteur approuvé et correctement attaché.

34. PASSEPORT, TEST COGGINS & VACCINS La fiche d’identification numérique (passeport électronique), la licence du cheval et le certificat de test Coggins seront exigés et doivent être datés de l’année en cours. Tout cheval participant à un concours sanctionné par Canada Équestre doit satisfaire aux exigences de l’article A519, Vaccination.

35. SÉCURITÉ DE NUIT & CIRCULATION a) Le site est surveillé 24h sur 24h à compter du mardi 21 juillet 2020. L’accès au site est interdit entre 23h et 4h. Les personnes dans l’obligation de se présenter doivent se déclarer au secrétariat de concours, avec l’heure de leur passage et présenter une attestation vétérinaire. b) La circulation de remorques et de camions/voitures dans la zone des écuries sera interdite dès le premier jour de compétition.

36. INTERDICTION DE FUMER Il est strictement interdit de fumer la cigarette dans les écuries. Tout contrevenant se verra charger une amende de 100$.

37. RÉSERVATION & CIRCULATION DE GOLF CARTS a) Réservation Il est possible de réserver votre voiturette de golf par courriel, fax ou poste jusqu’au12 juillet 2020. Le comité organisateur ne peut assurer la disponibilité des voiturettes pour ceux qui n’ont pas réservé à l’avance. b) Stationnement Un stationnement sera désigné pour les voiturettes de golf. Les contrevenants verront leur voiturette confisquée sans remboursement. Aucun stationnement ne sera toléré autour des exposants et du secrétariat. c) Circulation La circulation des voiturettes se fera dans les pistes prévues à cet effet. Les contrevenants verront leur voiturette confisquée sans remboursement. Sont seuls autorisés à circuler hors des pistes réservées les membres du comité organisateur et les officiels.

38. CIRCULATION DES CHEVAUX La circulation des chevaux se fera dans les pistes prévues à cet effet.

39. VÉHICULES MOTORISÉS Les véhicules motorisés incluant voiturette de golf, mobylettes, motocyclettes, VTT, etc., ne peuvent être utilisés que par des conducteurs détenant un permis de conduire valide.

40. STATIONNEMENT DES AUTOMOBILES L’inscription inclut 2 passes de stationnement. Elles doivent être visibles en tout temps. Le plan de stationnement offre suffisamment de places pour tous et nous comptons sur votre collaboration pour l’utilisation adéquate des aires de stationnement. Les conducteurs de véhicules sans passe de stationnement doivent passer par l’entrée publique et acquitter les frais. Les passes de stationnement sont disponibles au secrétariat et des passes supplémentaires sont disponibles au coût de 30$ par semaine. Aucun stationnement ne sera toléré autour des écuries et des manèges de compétitions.

Le remorquage sera aux frais du propriétaire. Stationner devant l’espace du préposé au départ est strictement interdit.

41. REMORQUE À CHEVAUX Des aires spéciales de débarquement et de stationnement ont été prévues pour les remorques à chevaux (remorque pour une journée ou pour une semaine et plus). Veuillez consulter le plan du site en ligne.Une amende de 100$ sera imputée aux participants qui seront stationnés aux endroits proscrits.

32. ANTI-DOPING FOR HUMAN ATHLETES All competitors, when registering, recognize that they can be tested for banned or restricted drugs at any time. Competitors can refer to EC and FEI anti-doping rules concerning riders. A positive drug test will result in the forfeit of all prizes and purses awarded to the horse, the person responsible, the owner, the trainer, the rider and the groom.

33. SAFETY HEADGEAR Anyone riding or driving horses on the show grounds of EC- sanctioned competitions must wear an approved helmet properly fastened, at all times.

34. HORSE PASSPORT, COGGINS & VACCINATION Current horse recording, horse license and coggins test are mandatory.

Horse must meet the requirements of Article A519 (Vaccinations) 35. NIGHT SECURITY AND TRAFFIC a) Show grounds are supervised 24 hours a day starting on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Access to the site is forbidden between 11 P.M. and 4 A.M. Anyone who must absolutely come during that time must advise the show office of the time of their visit and provide a veterinarian’s attestation. b) Trailers, trucks and cars will not be allowed in the stabling area, starting on the first day of competition.

36. NO SMOKING It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the stables. All offenders will incur a $100 fine.

37. GOLF CARTS RESERVATION & TRAFFIC a) Reservation You can reserve a golf cart until July 12, 2020 by email, fax or mail. Availability of Golf Cart relies on reservation. b) Parking A parking area is designated specifically for golf carts. Offenders will have their carts confiscated without a refund. No parking is allowed around exhibitors’ kiosks or the show office. c) Traffic Cart Traffic is limited to designated trails only. Offenders will have their carts confiscated without a refund. Officials and members of the Organizing Committee only are authorized outside the designated trails.

38. HORSE TRAFFIC Horse traffic is allowed in designated areas only.

39. MOTORIZED VEHICLES Motorized vehicles including golf carts, scooters, motorcycles, ATVs, etc., can only be driven by a person with a valid driver’s licence.

40. CAR PARKING Registration includes 2 parking passes, which must be visible in the vehicles at all times. The parking plan provides enough parking spaces for everyone, and we count on your collaboration for adequate use of parking areas.

Drivers without a parking pass must use the public entrance and pay the applicable fees. Parking passes are available at the show office and additional passes are available for $30 a week. No parking is allowed around the stables and the competition rings. Towing charges are at the owner’s expense. Parking in front of the ingate is strickly forbidden.

41. HORSE TRAILER Specific unloading and parking areas are designed for trailers (day, week or more). Please see the ground map online. Participants parked in prohibited areas will incur a $100 fine.

ARTICLE 1 – ASSURANCES / INSURANCES Cette voiturette de golf est assurée en responsabilité civile. Les effets personnels n’étant pas assurés, ils sont à la charge du client en cas de perte ou de vol. La franchise en cas de sinistre ou de vol est de $500 CAD, à la charge du client. En cas de sinistre ou de vol, le client doit aviser le locateur dans les 24h et faire une déclaration écrite comportant les renseignements relatifs aux circonstances du sinistre.

This Golf Cart is insured for civil liability. Personal effects not being insured, they are the customer’s responsibility in case of loss or of theft. The franchise in case of accident, injury or theft is of $500 CAD, payable by the customer. In case of accident, injury, loss or theft, the customer has to inform the lessor within 24 hours and make a written statement detailing the information relative to the circumstances of the claim.

ARTICLE 2 – CONDITIONS DE LOCATION & INTERDICTIONS / RENTAL CONDITIONS & PROHIBITIONS En signant ce contrat, le client accepte le véhicule dans l’état où il se trouve et s’oblige à le restituer dans le même état de marche et dans le même état esthétique.

Le conducteur doit détenir un permis de conduire valide. Le véhicule ne peut être utilisé hors des voies propres à la circulation. L’accès au steeple-chase est strictement interdit.

Le véhicule ne peut transporter plus de passagers qu’il n’a de sièges.

Le véhicule est loué avec le réservoir plein. Tout ajout de carburant doit être constitué exclusivement d’essence. Il est possible de s’en procurer auprès du locateur au prix du marché. Il est de la responsabilité du locataire de s’assurer que le réservoir contient du carburant.

Le locateur se réserve le droit de confisquer sans préavis et sans remboursement 1) les voiturettes dont les conducteurs ne sont pas détenteurs de permis de conduire valide, 2) les voiturettes utilisées hors des sentiers autorisés ou stationner dans des endroits interdits, 3) les voiturettes conduites dangereusement et où le nombre de passagers excèdent les sièges disponibles By signing this contract, the customer accepts the vehicle in its current state and is obligated to return it in the same working order and same physical condition.

The driver must have a valid driving license. The vehicle cannot be used outside appropriated trails for traffic. Access to the steeplechase is strictly forbidden. The vehicle cannot transport more passengers than it has seats.

The vehicle is rented with a full tank. Additional fuel must be exclusively gasoline. It is available with the lessor at market prices. It is the responsibility of the renter to make sure the tank always contains gasoline.

The lessor reserves the right to seize without advance notice and without refund 1) a Golf Cart when the drivers do not have a valid driver’s license, 2) Golf Carts used outside the authorized paths or parked in forbidden areas, 3) Golf Carts driven dangerously and where passengers exceed the available seats ARTICLE 3 – ENTRETIEN / MAINTENANCE Toutes les révisions, réparation(s) de panne, réparation(s) suite à un accident ou plus généralement toute intervention sur le véhicule doivent être effectuées auprès ou avec l’autorisation du locateur.

All revisions, repairs of breakdown, repairs following an accident or more generally any action taken on the vehicle must be made by and with the authorization of the lessor.
