bilingual immersion
What sets us apart.
Our Mission: “Guided by the principles of academic rigor and diversity, the French American
International School offers programs of study in French and English to prepare its graduates for a world in which the ability to think critically and to communicate across cultures is of paramount importance.”
There are enormous cognitive and developmental advantages to a bilingual education. Our French immersion program takes full advantage of the one-time window of opportunity for language acquisition enjoyed by very young children.
Our purpose built Early Learning Center features two classes for three year old children. We provide a challenging yet nurturing learning environment. Your child will be thoroughly engaged – intellectually and creatively.
The French American community is diverse. We believe that everybody learns more if, on a daily basis, they are relating to others not like themselves.
The international aspect of French American ensures that students make wider connections. We are renowned for the quality of our Pre-K through 12 academic program culminating in an International Baccalaureate Diploma or French Bac.
Our families recognize the value of more
than one language and more than one way of looking at the world.
