ACADEMICS

Academics @ ISB The High School is an exciting place of learning for our students! Our broad and balanced curriculum offers students opportunities to effectively approach their work both individually and by collaborating with others. For the first two years of High School in Grades 9 and 10, students study a range of core subjects which include; English, a World Language, HS DEAN OF ACADEMICS Mathematics, World Studies, Science, Arts & Design/ AND IB COORDINATOR Technology, Physical Education & Health. Our students Justyna McMillan are challenged to think critically and creatively by connecting their academic disciplines to the real world. In addition to the core classes we offer a variety of Elective Courses, providing students with multiple ways to develop their interests and their love of learning. The Grade 9 and 10 Curriculum develops students’ knowledge, skills and understanding, and lays the foundations for pathways students will then follow in Grades 11 and 12.
