Back by popular demand… Lawrence Hrubeš, singer and pianist, and an ISP teacher, will play jazz, folk and pop music. He will be joined by special guests, ISP students and teachers, Sona Koloyan, Diana Shafran, Jeremy Chapman, and Rebecca van de Vlierd. Tonya Graves

The famous American-‐Czech singer Tonya quickly became the big thing of the Czech music scene. After starting with Blues projects, she quickly turned to more modern turf of dance music as the vocalist of Liquid Harmony. Since 2000, Graves boarded the soul express known as Monkey Business, of which she has been one of the hallmarks until present. Tonya Graves performs in the Imperial Hall, 20:00 – 21:15.

Casino Fundraiser & Tom Gryf

The Fun Casino of Jaroslav Voboril provides Roulette, two Poker tables and Black Jack. Tom Gryf will amuse you with his slight-‐of-‐hand. The Casino is open in the Concert Room, 20:00 – 24:00.

Smilebox

The Smilebox photo booth will capture fun and special moments with professional high quality pictures. An exciting memory from the party! The Smilebox will be available in the Piranesi Room, 20.00 – 24:00.

Damian, the Magician in Prague

Damian, the magician in Prague, specializes in close-‐up magic. He makes everyday items vanish, reappear, link and change color -‐ sometimes, even in the spectator's closed fist! What better way to treat our guests at the Palace then to have a skilled sleight of hand artist mingling and entertaining! Damian will entertain you throughout the Palace, 19:30 – 22:30.

Caricaturist

Milan Boček, caricaturist, will bring everyone together laughing and smiling over his fantastic caricatures. His drawings are produced at a high speed to a high quality. You will take home many great memories! The Caricaturist will be available in the Piranesi Room, 19.30 – 22:30.

En.Dru

Ondřej Havlík aka En.Dru presents a one man show based on beatbox-‐vocal improvisation while using a loop station. It is unique and the only show of its kind in the Czech Republic. This "machine" makes loops of recorded sounds or phrases, which En.Dru creates step by step, live, in front of the audience. As the icing on the cake, he will also add one of his best stand-‐up comedy shows. En.Dru performs in the Imperial Hall from 22:00 to 22:30.

Live Auction with Nancy Braun

Enjoy the thrill of live bidding on your favorite item! Nancy Braun, the auctioneer this evening, will present 5 live auction gifts, including the slide show. Live Auction starts in the Imperial Hall at 22:30.

Exotic Supercar Raffle

Win a Ferrari or Lamborghini for a weekend! The raffle tickets (500,-‐CZK each) will be available at the Palace from 19:00 to 23:00. The final drawing follows the live auction in the Imperial Hall at 23:00.

Adam Nedvídek

Adam, our DJ, will keep everyone busy until the sun comes up over Prague. Dancing with Mr. DJ in the Imperial Hall starts at 23:15.

Letter from the Director Dear Friends and Members of the ISP Community, Welcome to, “A Night at the Palace,” the International School of Prague’s Fifth Annual Fundraiser for the Annual Fund and Scholarships! Since 1948, ISP has been dedicated to providing an exceptional education in a truly global environment. Over the years, the success of our Alumni is a tribute to the work not only of those who have worked at the School, but to those who have helped to ensure its firm financial foundation. For more than ten years, a number of our Alumni students have been the deserving recipients of generous scholarships provided by the ISP community; they have enriched our community as much as they have been enriched. Your participation this evening, coupled with our corporate donors, ensures that this important program will continue in perpetuity, to support deserving future ISP students. Live Auction Procedure

The Live Auction of 5 great items will start at 10:30 pm in the Imperial Hall. 1. All music, activities and gambling will be suspended and guests are kindly asked to make their way to the Imperial Hall.

2. During the live auction, the auctioneer will provide the item name, description, starting bid and then subsequent bid increases. Everyone is invited to bid in the Live Auction. Bidders will raise their hand up as high as possible to indicate their desire to agree to current asking bid until recognized by the auctioneer.

3. The auctioneer will call “Going Once” and “Going Twice” on the item prior to calling the final “Sold”. Once “Sold” has been called the person acknowledged by the auctioneer for that final bid is the winner. _________________________________________________________________________________

This piece was inspired by the graphic designs of the Czech artist Alfons Mucha. I have always been inspired by his work, so I was delighted to try to create my own version. Svoboda, or Freedom, refers to the Czech people's victory after the struggle against many years of oppression. I find this just as inspiring as Mucha’s work.

Prague With a Hint of Color was created with black fine tip pen and water colors. My inspiration for this piece was a photograph that I took in a park near my house. I like this view a lot and for me displayed Prague extremely well. I also was inspired by an artist Stephen Wiltshire who drew all of New York from his memory after seeing it in a 20 minute helicopter ride. I liked that it also was panoramic sort of piece and I liked it’s style, so I thought it would be interesting to try to paint something similar .
