Video Challenge 2016 Living with thalassaemia: The Video Challenge competition continues for a second year!
TIF is holding its special “Living with Thalassemia Video Challenge� for a second consecutive year, asking members of the thalassaemia community to share videos relating to thalassaemia that will spread a positive, hopefull,or inspiring message.
Deadline The closing date for the competition is 6 April 20 16 Terms of the contest
1. Each participant can take part with up to 10 videos. 2. All works should be sent to the Thalassaemia International Federation, through e-mail at thalassaemialp@thalassaemia.org.cy to Liana Prastiti, TIF Communications Officer or through post at PO Box 28 80 7, 20 83 Strovolos, Nicosia, Cyprus.
3. The deadline of the contest is 6 April 2016. Late entries will be excluded. 4. All entries should include: The name of the contestant, complete mailing address, phone number, email, and the title of the contest.
5. The assessment will be made by a committee assigned by the Thalassaemia International Federation. 6. The first winner will be given the prize of $ 500, the second the amount of $ 300 and the third the amount of $ 100 . All others will be given a certificate of participation.
7. Each video can only be entered once. Duplicates will be removed. 8. The video must be your original work. 9. You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of all videos entered. 10. Source material or proof of permission to use must be made available on request by TIF. 11. The winning video will be displayed in the TIF’s video galleries, Youtube, our social media after the competition has closed and will be showcased on TIF’s event
12. The videos of the participants will be displayed at an exhibition during the month of the International Thalassaemia Day. Pictures of this event will be uploaded on our social media and on TIF’s printed material.
13. The participants consent to the necessary processing of their personal data. 14. In addition, by entering a video, participants grant TIF the right to reproduce it on its electronic communication material and social media with attribution. For example, we may use your videos as with attribution upon the announcement of the winning entries, indicating the name and surname of the participant as w ell as their copyrights.
15. Creator of Video maintains ownership retaining full rights to videos which they submit. 16. By submitting videos participants agree that one or some of their videos will be show-cased online as exemplary videos.
17. TIF has the non-exclusive right to modify and adapt all videos on with good intent (e.g. adding watermark to it, making thumbnail versions of images, etc ). TIF will fully attribute wherever it is displayed (e.g. as part of an exhibition in a photo/ arts gallery or a museum).
18. TIF is not responsible for any video submitted as your own, for which you are not the owner 19. TIF does not accept any liability for the publication of unlawfully reproduced videos. 20 . TIF takes no responsibility for corrupted or late entries. 21. TIF reserves the right to withhold prizes if, the quality of entries falls below the standard required.
