Sir Robert Peel made it so urban police forces could more efficiently prosper. America followed suit in the 1850s with Allan Pinkerton creating the Pinkerton Agency, a private security agency. His work was mainly on the rail line because of the expensive cargo, but eventually he was hired by the President himself, Abraham Lincoln.

Other security firms like Wells Fargo and Brinks were also created.
