Make Noise Today is a platform that creates empathy and equity through Asian storytelling. We accomplish this through: Collections of content & stories on the lives of Asian Americans – Recipe for Change Educational toolkits that teach youth/educators how to listen to and tell stories, as well as create space for discussions of race through storytelling. “Letters To...” Exhibition- Submissions from the “Letters To…” writing contest have been into an art exhibition to display and promote the students’ writings and amplify their voices. This initiative was launched in May 2020 in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, and our powerful voices continue to be loud and strong to take control of our own narrative and combat racism by telling personal stories of our heritage and accomplishments, challenges, grit, inspiration, and culture — to create empathy, educate and inform the public at large to inspire us all to unite — Stand Up, Stand Out and… #MakeNoiseToday.
