Optional accessory: ASTAT NEX
NOVOFLE X offers a large variety of high precise fine mechanic adapters to connect lenses and cameras of different manufacturers. With all adapters and/or adapter combinations infinity adjustment of the lens is possible. None of the adapters will transfer any function from the camera body to the lens. With almost all cameras automatic exposure metering (stop-down metering/aperture priority) is possible. All adapters are machined high precisely to ensure the correction of the flange focal length differences. The adapter models MFT/NIK, MFT/MIN-AF, MFT/PENT, NEX/NIK, NEX/MIN-AF, NEX/PENT, NX/NIK,NX/MIN-AF, NX/PENT and EOS/NIK NT (for Nikon, Sony Alpha / Minolta AF and Pentax K lenses) are equipped additionally with a stepless f-stop control ring and can therefore be used with lenses that do not come with a built-in manual aperture control ring.

When mounting long or heavy lenses to Sony NEX cameras, we recommend the use of the adapter collar ASTAT-NEX to relieve the strain from the camera body thread. The ASTAT-NEX can be mounted on any 1/4“ and 3/8“ thread or to the NOVOFLEX Q dovetail quick release system (Arca compatible). Please note that due to technical reasons only certain camera-lens combinations are possible. See page 2 for the most common adaptions.
