Natural disasters, which is a crucial issue for humans, can cause an unstable climate and insufficient resources for human’s living. Gas emissions from many huge factories are affecting people’s quality. Some materials in building construction like steel or concrete which are used in many types of building such as residentials and commercials can bring many drawbacks in pollution to our world. As time goes by, these materials are corroded and decomposed which are not only unsustainable materials for a long term use but also affect global warming continuously when these materials are burned in the factory and spreaded high density of carbon through the air.

However, the alternative choice like wooden material is prefered to be a many part of construction. Moreover, the carbon absorption of wood is better than steel or concrete materials. It is inevitable that wood becomes more trendy today because of decreasing pollution in the air and being eco-friendly with the environment.

Wood is used in many types of building construction material and also being a part of housing components such as table, chair, or window. The space which sells each type of wood components becomes a more interesting and trendy spot for visitors who decide to buy different types of wood. Bang Pho Wood Street in Bangkok, Thailand is an important road for wood distribution between sellers and buyers from around the city.

In the next 10 years, I intend to not only create a huge society for people who want to buy each type of wood and build an educational space for visitors to learn from workers who expertise on crafting but also use the advantage from wood to be a structure of building to decrease a gas emission as well. Sellers can get more income from being well-known in the wood industry and buyers can buy various types of wood and receive more knowledge about wood.

The adding space for society in this community is the core idea of this project. Additional space should provide wood exhibition, selling market, educational area, and resting area to make a better society for people’s lifestyle experience and knowledge in the same area in Bang Pho Wood Street.

In the last 60 years, this community is an agriculture area. Until worker build up a road, this area decided to adapt their career into building furniture and doing woodwork by using Chao Phraya River route way to transport their materials.

At present, Wood Street is a comprehensive source of products and services From the beginning, but raw materials are products of processed wood, plywood, window frame, wood trim, cornice, wood fittings include real wood furniture, leather sofa, Louis sofa, Buddha amulet and Buddha altar table, etc.

The result of adding space on the rooftop garden will rapidly grow the population from outside. However, it is followed by increasing transportation's density. Therefore, I decided to expand a road to support a route area. After that, I also manage a pedestrian-friendly by cleaning a pathway and adding bicycle lanes to provide a lifestyle of pedestrians. Lower-level communities will be suitable for shopping and walking along the road.
