Wall & Ceiling Battens continue to grow in popularity as an easy way to create a decorative enhancement to a room. The new Intrim Casa Trim WB42A+WB42B are a 2 piece timber batten designed to be used on either a ceiling or wall application. Providing an alternative for exposed beams or roof rafters, they turn a plain white ceiling into an architectural masterpiece. Continue the batten down the wall or use them exclusively on the wall. WB42b is 122mm wide, and 25mm thick, WB42a is 135mm wide and 25mm thick. When installed the overall finished size of the 2 pieces together is 250mm.
Recommended spacing: Repeat each batten every 300-600mm equally spaced across the entire ceiling or wall

From board and batten detailing on the bathroom wall to finely fluted lining boards for the other bathroom, and large decorative skirting.

You may know it as VJ, V-Groove, VJ Panelling or even VJ Sheet; we call it Intrim VJ Pro. The name comes from the V shaped grooves that are spaced every 100 or 150mm. When Kirsty and Jesse were building their Hamptons home on the Block, we knew they were lovers of timber mouldings. So it was natural that they reached out to Intrim to partner with them for their own home. The Lakehouse renovation before & afters show how dramatic a makeover can be with careful materials selections and an eye for design. Intrim supplied VJ Board Pro wall / ceiling panelling, SK498 skirting and matching architraves, SN03 sill nosing and IHR04 handrails.
