"The threshold identifies the point of transition between interior and exterior. In a metaphorical sense can represent the boundary line between us and the outside world. ... This balance between internal and external world in photography I think I identified with the shot. We are faced with the fundamental problem of photography: the relationship between what I have to represent and what I want to be excluded from representation. (...) In the time of shooting I find myself on the threshold. " Besides making good shots, is useful look for natural frames that already exist and that lead the eye such as windows and gates.
