Every year I photograph many families. Each
is unique; some are small, while others include generations. One thing almost all of my clients ask about is how to decorate with their pictures, not just posting them to Facebook and Instagram, where they tend to be forgotten. Oh, there are so many clever ways to display printed pictures around the house. So why not print those favorite photos and start decorating? Not sure where to start? I love the cohesive collected look, as well as the mix of personal pictures and artwork. We just purchased a new home and have a ledge next to our stairs going downstairs and this is exactly what I have done. So, time to stock up on frames! Insider Note: My favorite frames are from Hobby Lobby or IKEA for this look. Their frames are built really well, and they have so much variety that will match anyone’s home décor style. Make a masterpiece of minis Do you own an instant printer? I just purchased one and am taking inspiration from Scott and Kim Yargo’s amazing display. The couple behind Yellow Brick Home opted to place their instant photos in a small shadowbox frame. This is an excellent way to showcase favorite memories, even if space is limited.
