On behalf of the Iona Preparatory family, we welcome you to discover all that we have to offer young men for their high school experience. At our Upper School, each of our students receives a strong and innovative college-preparatory program, based on Catholic Christian values. We believe in educating the whole person: mind, heart, body and soul; and we do this each and every day in the classroom, as well as on and off the playing fields.

$23 MILLION+ At Iona Prep, we have been raising the bar on education for nearly 100 years. We nurture intellect, integrity and curiosity to spark success, in college and beyond. We are committed to academic excellence, offering core, honors and 16 Advanced Placement courses, as well as dual enrollment courses through Iona College and St. John's University for college credit. Our core liberal arts curriculum emphasizes English, Math and Science. Courses in Latin and Greek roots, composition and grammar allow students to expand their linguistic prowess, while religious studies nurture the Spirit and emphasize ethical and moral thinking. In addition to four years of English, social studies, mathematics, religious studies, science and three years of a foreign language, semester-long courses in music, art, health and technology are required. Students graduate with a total of 29 credits, exceeding New York State education standards.
