1. Adoption of Minutes of the AGM meeting held on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the Centre Sheraton Hotel, Montreal, Quebec

Motion: That the of Minutes of the AGM meeting held on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at the Centre Sheraton Hotel, Montreal, Quebec be adopted.

Motion : Que l’on adopte le procès-verbal de l’Assemblée générale annuelle tenue le dimanche 18 août 2013 à l’hôtel Centre Sheraton à Montréal, Québec.

2. Discussion of matters arising from the minutes.

3. Report of the National President Andrew Treusch gave a summary of the President’s report distributed by email prior to the meeting and available on the IPAC website.

3. Rapport du président national Andrew Treusch donne un compte rendu du Rapport du président national qui a été distribué par courriel avant la réunion et accessible sur le site Web de l’IAPC.

4. Report of the National Secretary-Treasurer Annette Trimbee gave an overview of IPAC’s financial performance over the past fiscal year, its financial status at the 2013 year-end, and an indication of the financial status of the organization for the coming year. Audited statements for IPAC’s 2013 fiscal year were included in the report along with the unqualified auditors report. (The SecretaryTreasurer’s report, distributed prior to the meeting, is available in the IPAC website.)

4. Rapport de la secrétaire-trésorière nationale Annette Trimbee donne un aperçu du rendement financier de l’IAPC au cours de l’exercice écoulé et de sa situation financière à la fin de l’exercice 2013, et indique la situation financière de l’organisme pour l’exercice à venir. Although IPAC did not meet its budget target for 2013, IPAC experienced a third year of surplus after several years of deficits. It is clear that with this third straight year of surpluses, IPAC has successfully implemented a strategy to enable its fiscal sustainability. We have layout the foundation for 2014-2015.

Même si l’IAPC n’a pas atteint son objectif budgétaire pour 2013, il a néanmoins connu une troisième année excédentaire après plusieurs années déficitaires. il est clair qu’avec cette troisième année consécutive de surplus, l’IAPC a mis en œuvre avec succès une stratégie qui permet sa viabilité financière. Nous avons préparé la base pour 2014-2015.

Motion: That the audited 2013 Financial Statements of IPAC be accepted by the membership.

5. Appointment of Auditors for 2014 Motion: That the appointment of the auditors for the 2014 fiscal year audit be Grant Thornton.

Proposed: George Ross Seconded: Jim Henckel Carried.

6. Other Business Board nominations are a little different this year as they are coinciding with the Annual Conference as it is being held in June. The 2013-14 Board of Directors continues until the end of August 2014. st

Nominations are open until July 1 . Nominations come to the Board for approval and the 2014-15 Board of Directors takes effect in September 2014.

Motion: That the Annual General Meeting be adjourned.

Proposed: Annette Trimbee Seconded: George Ross Carried.

6. Autres affaires Les nominations au Conseil d'administration sont un peu différentes cette année car elles coïncident avec le Congrès annuel qui se tient en juin. Le Conseil d'administration de 2013-2014 poursuivra ses fonctions jusqu'à la fin août 2014.

Les mises en candidature sont ouvertes jusqu'au 1er juillet. Elles sont ensuite soumises à l’approbation du Conseil d'administration et le nouveau Conseil de 2014-2015 entre en fonction en septembre 2014.

Motion : Que la séance de l’Assemblée générale annuelle soit levée.

La séance est levée à 15 h 51.
