Life together can get busy, stressful and sometimes just routine. It is not intended or wanted-it just happens. If we drift in our relationship, we will likely drift apart. We don't want that to happen, so let's put our oars in the water and row together to our intended goal: an intimate, loving, supportive, enjoyable relationship.

"When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me."
1 Corinthians 13:11

What are some of the opinions, beliefs and attitudes you left behind when you became an adult?

What parts of childhood and teen years were the hardest to put away?

If you could go back and talk to your younger self in (choose a date), what would you say?

If your younger self could talk to you today, what do you think they would say?

How does God equip us to deal with the increased stress and responsibilities of adulthood?

Lord, we praise you for your patience and work in our lives-for the ways in which You equip us to deal with the stress of adulthood. We are thankful for the people You surround us with to make us feel better. Please give us continued guidance and peace as we face new challenges and stressors. AMEN
