SOCIAL SERVICES PROVIDED 1,676 different families received food vouchers 3,274 food vouchers were given out 180 different families received financial assistance for tuition, medical costs, transportation, or other expenses 2021 COMMUNITY MINISTRIES ANNUAL REPORT | 5

SUB-COMMITTEES HOMELESSNESS AND HOUSING Hosted a Crop Drop at IPC in October. 101 IPC members of all ages volunteered. 16 local agencies received the produce. Worked to begin a new Weekend Buddy Bag program at Hayes K 8 School where 97% of the students are food insecure. Immediate needs were met through our on campus Blessing Boxes and Food Voucher program. HUNGER AND FOOD INSECURITY 2021 COMMUNITY MINISTRIES ANNUAL REPORT | 6 EDUCATION Participated in the annual Presbytery build with Habitat for Humanity Supported Meals on Wheels delivery with volunteers. Served meals together at First Light women and children's shelter. Provided emergency food and water to City of Birmingham and One Roof operations to support unhoused and homeless citizens. Served 67 children through our Summer Learning Program at Children's Fresh Air Farm. Continued tutoring through the STAIR program at Hayes K 8 School. Tutored 24 students through our Lift Off to Learning program held at IPC.

AND THEIR WORK Began planning with Community on the Rise to recycle #5 plastics and place a collection point at IPC. Recertified by Presbyterian Hunger Program as an Earth Care Congregation. EARTH CARE 2021 COMMUNITY MINISTRIES ANNUAL REPORT | 7 Worked to continue building relationships in the Kingston, North Avondale, and Woodlawn neighborhoods to prevent eviction and disconnection of utilities. Deepened partnerships with CEFA, Hope Inspired Ministries, Maranathan Academy, and Jeremiah's Hope. FAMILY STABILITY AND OPPORTUNITY Planned a Chiapas Mexico Mission Journey for June 2022. Began an Alabama Black Belt Mission Journey sub committee to plan future mission journeys. GLOBAL MISSIONS
