MEILLER Relies on AGTOS and SLF to Equip its New Surface Pre-Treatment Division
AGTOS and SLF Oberflächentechnik GmbH will work together in order to equip the new paintshop of MEILLER’s plant in Slaný (Czech Republic) with a cost-effective blasting system.
The MEILLER company was founded in 1850, and has always featured continuous growth, so much as that today it has become one of the leading groups in manufacturing waste disposal and commercial vehicles. The Munich-based firm has planned to build a new surface treatment department in its Czech plant in Slaný. It relied on AGTOS, specializing in blasting technologies, in order to equip the new KTL coating line of the dump trucks designed by MEGA-TEC s.r.o. with an automatic roller conveyor shot blasting machine. AGTOS will provide MEILLER with a RT 32-10 series shot blasting machine, which is able to blast welded pieces up to 2,550 mm width, 950 mm height and 7,500 mm length. The blasting system will be completed with lamella-type conveyors designed and installed by SLF Oberflächentechnik GmbH. These conveyors will be located in front of the blasting room and between the roller conveyors in order to bring the abrasive back into the blasting cycle, and ensure cost savings. AGTOS will provide also the cartridge filter systems to extract and filter out the exhaust air from the blasting machine and the blasting room. Providing one of the leading surface treatment centres in Europe with these important systems is a source of pride for AGTOS and SLF.
