Rock that hat
Olga Geidane can rock a hat. She finds every ounce of energy to reach her goals. She uses her image to create a look that lands with her prospective clients. Her confidence is tangible. She wears her hats with flair and passion.
Hats were essential in the blisteringly cold weather of Latvia where she grew up - her Russian parents instilled strong values and encouraged her up to live life to the full.

Now a mind coach and international speaker, she considers her image in a professional context. Her daily regime offers a range of activities that prepare her for a full day of projects from coaching to counselling to training; she uses discipline in all aspects of her life.
She has a passion to help people to feel comfortable - her training has got her to ‘dig deeper’ into behaviours to reach the core. So much around us influences us. Her research took her to greater meaningful depths to include more than just our business lives. She became aware that it embraced our whole lives. There is a connection beyond the here and now, intertwined are business and personal perspectives. Her insight develops the whole person, giving relationships and work decisions an equal weighting. Her work spans emotional situations, behavioural action and mindset expectation. A virtual hat just isn’t enough.
When you put on a hat you change. You are a different person, it changes your personality.
Even a zoom call can be an occasion to wear a hat. Troubled by ‘Hat hair’ when she removes a hat, Olga still takes time to choose the right hat. This makes her stand out in a crowd or ‘disappear’ if she doesn’t want to talk to anyone. She recalls a pink fluffy fedora that was admired by everyone and made her stand out as a ‘stylish mum’! Hats have stories too.
With a background in modelling and acting she learned a lot about herself. Regarding hats, she recommends that readers have colour analysis done to help them frame their look.
The hat has to be the right colour for the skin tone. After that, the shape and size is open to preferences. A large brim can work, if you feel good in it. The way you look correlates with how you feel.
A loud hat may be too much. If you want to play with the hat, it can compliment your outfits. She advises that you buy plenty of hats; I like to match my hat and gloves. Learn how to look after your hats. When her Russian hat got squashed, I suggested she give it a good shake.
Whenever you choose a item to wear, do this carefully. Colours you wear indicate your personality. The first seven seconds represent the time it takes to give a ‘first impression’ and often a lasting image of you.
