NEW G-SLOPE SENSOR MGS-0150 FOR SMOOTH ASPHALT PAVING Paving roundabouts, docking the truck to the paver, fast steering movements or moving the screed’s extending units were so far challenging for slope sensors. Because a conventional slope sensor can wrongly interpret acceleration as slope and then adjust the paver screed accordingly. For the paving result that means that unevenness in the asphalt can occur.

ith MOBA’s new G-Slope Sensor MGS-0150, these are no more obstacles like these for paving a smooth asphalt layer. Because with this new sensor, that was especially developed for the use on asphalt pavers, neither impacts nor lateral acceleration have any influence on levelling during paving. With the integrated gyroscope, the sensor is able to recognize these impacts and there is no wrong adjustment of the levelling system. This way, the new sensor helps to achieve smoother results in asphalt paving.
