Promotion of a knowledge resource that facilitates clearer understanding of the PV supply chain among the growing number of businesses and organizations planning PV manufacturing capacity, project developers, investors, equipment, component and materials suppliers and other visitors to EU PVSEC is an opportunity not to be missed. PV Matrix breaks down the industry by the main material/technology classifications of ‘silicon’, ‘thin-film’ and ‘organic’, then ‘installation & power generation’, clearly demonstrating how each process step relates within the overall PV supply chain. Breaking down the PV value chain in this way helps to make the PV industry

accessible to a wider audience. Being part of the PV Matrix can help members identify new market opportunities, increase sales leads, find suppliers and partners and enhance networking. On the IPVEA stand visitors will be able to interact and explore PV Matrix using available touchscreen computers. It is critical, therefore, that IPVEA member companies update their entries in PV Matrix, by Friday 15 July 2011, in time for its launch at the show. Members can edit their entries at http://matrix.ipvea.web-republic.de/ (See the guide to entering information in the PV Matrix on page 4)

PV Matrix soon available as an App PV Matrix will soon be available as an ‘app’ for tablets and smart phones, so whether at the office or on the move, IPVEA members and the wider solar industry will have unprecedented access to PV Matrix.
