We believe strongly that the application of knowledge and skills in real-world contexts enhances the understanding and capabilities of each of our students and serves to better prepare them for meaningful lives and productive careers. In each of our colleges, our dedicated faculty seek innovative ways to incorporate experiential learning into the academic experiences of our students. Printing costs for From The Writer’s Kitchen, a student run publication
Tutoring of one school-aged child in The Clubhouse

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE A gift at the $500 level toward Academic Excellence provides funding for opportunities and items like these:
One semester of a research project for a College of Sciences student
One faculty development workshop
50 hours of pay for student deejays on WLFC (UF’s radio station) on air broadcast time
For some programs where experiences are more costly, gifts at or above $1,000 can greatly impact students academically. For example: • A Doppler ultrasound device for the new Nursing Program • Attendance at a national professional conference for two students in order to present a project • A gift of $5,000 could provide one semester’s subscription fee for MorningStar Direct Stock Market Data for the Investment Club’s portfolio management project

SCHOLARSHIPS Our students are amazing, intelligent and hard-working future leaders. On top of their regular classwork, they are leading undergraduate research projects, playing varsity sports, volunteering their time in the community, getting hands-on experience interning at local businesses and helping make the campus life rich by being involved in many student organizations. In addition, many of our students have to find time to work one, if not two jobs to help makes ends meet.
Even though nearly all of our students receive some sort of scholarship or financial aid, there is still a gap many have to fill.
A gift to scholarships to The University of Findlay will make a real difference in the lives of our outstanding students.

The answer to this question is actually an easy one - The Findlay Fund. What is The Findlay Fund? The Findlay Fund is a gift designation that has been created as a way to make a gift that will touch the lives of every student at The University of Findlay. Several donors have compared The Findlay Fund to making a gift to their local community
United Way, only in this case it is a way to impact every facet of the educational offerings at The University of Findlay. The Findlay Fund makes it possible for students to obtain the financial resources to enhance their distinguished educational experience at The University of Findlay.
