HOMECOMING BANNER CONTEST • Tuesday, Sept. 23 - Friday, Sept. 26 UF Spirit Banners will be on display in the AMU. • Judging will take place Friday, Sept. 26. • Winners will be announced at the Homecoming football game during the third quarter. • Banners due by Friday, Sept. 19, 4:30 p.m. in the Campus Program Board Office (AMU #8) to qualify to win cash prizes.

3 - 4 p.m. Guest Speaker: Jeffrey Selingo Location: Old Main, Ritz Auditorium Join us for a presentation by Jeffrey Selingo, an author, columnist and speaker, who has spent his journalism career covering the business of colleges and universities worldwide. His book, “College (Un)Bound: The Future of Higher Education and What It Means for Students,” explores the college of tomorrow – how families will pay, what campuses will look like, how students will learn, and what skills will lead to success in the job market. A former top editor of The Chronicle of Higher Education for 16 years and professor of practice

HOMECOMING & FAMILY WEEKEND 2014 at Arizona State University, Selingo’s work focuses on innovation in higher education and how students, parents and employers should value one of the biggest purchases in life – a college degree. His writing also has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and The Huffington Post. ​

This event is sponsored by UF’s Campus Program Board. Champlin finished third on Season 5 of NBC’s “The Voice.” A native of Los Angeles, California, he is also a Grammy Award-winning songwriter and a versatile piano player. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m. Tickets for $10 each are available to the public by calling 419-434-4458, Monday-Friday, or by going to the Box Office in the Alumni Memorial Union. Immediately following the concert will be the SGA sponsored bonfire! Current UF students only!
