DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP POSTER COMPETITION CREATIVE CLASSROOM GROUP
ETWINNING 2016
• Topic: Students 5-18 years old were invited to create a poster/ drawing representing a rule for in one of the following topics: 1. Digital Access 2. Digital Communication 3. Digital Literacy 4. Digital Etiquette, Rights and Responsibilities and Security 5. Digital Health and Wellness Instructions: · Students create a Digital poster or a paper drawing on one of the above topics · Teachers scan the drawing/poster or save it if it’s digital in .jpg or .png format and give as the name to the file the name of their student and his/her country e.g. Irene_Pateraki_GR · Teachers upload the jpg or png file in the file “photos” of the specific topic in the folder in the Creative Classroom Group (there are 5 folders as there are 5 topics). The photo should be in high resolution. · They also complete the form: https://goo.gl/forms/RZxNd77kJGKGxOtB3 . If they have the drawings of 5 students they fill in the form 5 times. · The name of the student should not appear on the drawing/ poster. · The uploaded poster/drawing should not include photographs of students, unless teachers have the written approval of the parents.
Competition: Ø All entries should have been uploaded until Sunday 2 October 2016 Ø The Creative Classroom Group Moderator will then upload the posters/drawings in the Creative Classroom Facebook Page. Each week will be dedicated to one of the 5 topics. Ø Members of the Creative Classroom FB Group will vote for the Posters/Drawings they like mostly. Students can only vote if they are 14+, age that allows them to have a FB account. Ø After the deadline of the competition, a jury will select the winners among the 3 most voted entries from each topic. Ø The five winners will receive eTwinning goodies by post, the prizes will be sent to their school address. Ø All students will receive a digital certificate of participation Ø All entries will be published in a digital album/book. Important Dates: 1 September- 2 October: upload the posters/drawing in the appropriate folder in the Creative Classroom Group (Material Section) 3 October – 9 October: voting the posters on the topic of “Digital Access” in the Creative Classroom Facebook Page 10 October – 16 October: voting the posters on the topic of “Digital Communication” in the Creative Classroom Facebook Page 17 October – 23 October: voting the posters on the topic of “Digital Literacy” in the Creative Classroom Facebook Page 24 October – 30 October: voting the posters on the topic of “Digital Etiquette, Rights and Responsibilities and Security” in the Creative Classroom Facebook Page 31 October – 6 November: voting the posters on the topic of “Digital Health and Wellness” in the Creative Classroom Facebook Page 7 November – 10 November: Jury decision 14 November: Announcement of the winners By the end of November: publication of the participating posters/drawings
