Their teaching skills are developed in so far as they learn about other school systems, and other pedagogies. eTwinning is also an opportunity for teambuilding and transdisciplinary approaches. They put the project-based approach into practice and learn more about differentiation, multiculturalism and IT in the class. We hope they can also exchange teaching practices. As part of what we call the â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;polyvalence projectâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;, students created an eTwinning partnership with European schools about sustainable development. Various topics such as biodiversity, waste recycling, or nutrition were studied in class. yes

We would like to stick to the initial idea but this time between student teachers so as to establish links between our TTI and other European institutes and exchange experiences and good practices.

The student teachers of our international master are meant to build and develop multicultural projects, whether it be inside or outside the classroom. They have two years to create their own international networks, reinforce partnerships with schools abroad, or simply exchange ideas with teachers or educators. The eTw initiative is part of these objectives. The aim is to promote multiculturalism, open-mindedness and to a certain extent European citizenship. Their teaching skills are developed in so far as they learn about other school systems, and other pedagogies. eTwinning is also an opportunity for teambuilding and transdisciplinary approaches. They put the project-based approach into practice and learn more about differentiation, multiculturalism and IT in the class. We hope they carn also exchange teaching practices. In this first experience, we decided to introduce eTwinning to a group of students at first University year. The professor of English selected 20 students at hight level in English who don’t need to attend the “normal” English laboratory: for them he planned a special opportunity; the eTwinning lab (16 hours divided in 4 meetings). For this special lab the professor of English gives 2 university credits to students.

The workshop are conducted by Elisabetta Scaglioni with the Professor of English Gabriele Azzaro and the University Tutor Monica Lavini - 14th March 2018 9.00/13.00 presentation of eTwinning and the TTI project; registration of students in the training platform to explore eTwinning live; students association to the project "TTeTWIN Italia" and exploration of the TwinSpace; analysis of some tools (Padlet, Adobe Spark, Stepmap, Tripline, Issuu, Pixtoon) that we will use in the next meeting. Homework: read the contents of the project pages and self-presentation on Padlet created for University of Bologna. - 14th April 2018 8.30/12.30: group work: presentation of the city of Bologna, presentation of the University and of our degree course, project hypotesis by filling in a project form.

Let's learn an amazing eTwinning Sharing Schooling From U To EU Young Teachers for Young Learners (YT for YL)

This year I have not been involved in eTwinning TTI as I am participating in an Erasmus+ policy experiment EVALUATE with my students. They develop mainly transversal competences such as problem solving, project management, cooperation at national and international level. I introduce eTwinning to all my students during their III year of BA studies. During my lectures I show them some projects that stemmed from the eTwinning Initiative in Poland and try to encourage them to use eTwinning in their future work as teachers.

My students, before I told them about eTwinning, had no idea such an initiative existed. They were excited during our discussions about previous eTwinning projects created by teachers in Poland and Europe and, at least some of them, vowed to check if the schools or kindergartens they have their pedagogical practice in use eTwinning. Students themselves notice that this is an important project because pupils in kindergartens and elementary schools thanks to similar projects will be able to learn about the culture of other nations. To establish a community consisting of 6 involved partners: two lecturers of methodology, few (2-4) students, their teachers/mentors (2-4) from schools that collaborate with UL PEF, the teachers/mentors in partner school from another country, their pre-service mentees and the lecturers of preservice students. Potential partners we will contact come from Charles University in Prague and their school network, Karl Franzens in Graz and their network and Jagielonian Univeristy in Poland and their network.
