Since its inception in the early 19th century, photography haschangeddramaticallydrivenbytechnologicaladvances, artisticinnovationsandsocialchangeThejourneyfromthe camera obscura to the modern digital image has changed howwesee, interpretandwecarrythevisualinformation. Early pioneers such as Joseph Nicefor Niepse and Louis Daguerre laid the foundation for the development of the daguerreotype and calotype systems, which created new possibilitiesforphotography(Newhall,1982)Astechnology advanced, George Eastman democratized photography by introducingrollfilm, makingitthemassesItbecameeasier to produce, and encouraged amateur photography as a popularhobby(Marien,2002).

Digital sensors and image processingsoftwareexpandedtheboundariesofcreativity, enablingphotographerstoexperimentwithnewtechniques andachieveunprecedentedlevelsofcontrolandprecision (Peres, 2007) while the rise of social media platforms reshapedthelandscapeofphotographicpractice, andmade iteasiertoinstantlyshareimagesaroundtheworld(Cotton, 2014)hewrote.)
Enhancing photography with artistic movements is also important.Fromlatenineteenth-centurypaintingtoavantgarde experiments in modernism and surrealism, photographers continue to push the boundaries of visual expressionbycombiningnewmediumsandtechniquesto present cultural content on the changing scale (Marien, 1997).
The purpose of this study is to examine the interplay of technological advances, artistic advances, and social influences in the development of photography. Through mixed methods, we seek to understand how all of these elements have come together to shape the style and influencecontemporaryphotographicpractices.
