1. Abstract
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) intohydraulicstartingsystemsformarineenginesrepresentsa significant advancement in maritime technology. This paper exploresthepotential ofAI to enhancethereliability,efficiency, and predictive maintenance of hydraulic starting mechanisms. By utilizing AI algorithms, real-time data from sensors can be analyzed to monitor the system’s performance, predict potential failures, and optimize the starting process under varyingoperationalconditions.
This AI-driven approach can lead to reduced downtime, lower maintenance costs, and increased safety in marine operations. The research also investigates the scalability of AI applications in various marine engine types and sizes, highlighting its adaptability and potential for widespread adoption in the maritime industry. The findings suggest that AI-enhanced hydraulic starting systems could set new benchmarks for engine start reliability and operational efficiencyinthemarinesector.

In modern marine engineering, the integration of ArtificialIntelligence(AI)intohydraulicstartingsystems represents a significant technological advancement, enhancingtheefficiency,reliability,andsafetyofmarine engines.
Hydraulic starting systems, crucial for initiating large marine engines, traditionally rely on the precise coordinationofmechanicalcomponents.
However,theintroductionofAIoptimizesthesesystems by enabling predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring,andadaptivecontrol.
AIapplicationsinhydraulicstartingsystemscananalyze vast amounts of operational data to predict potential failures before they occur, reducing downtime and maintenancecosts.
Real-time monitoring allows for continuous assessment of the system’s performance, ensuring
that any deviations from optimal operation are immediatelyaddressed.
Furthermore, AI-driven adaptive control systems can dynamically adjust hydraulic parameters to suit varying operational conditions, thereby improving the start-up efficiency and prolonging thelifeoftheenginecomponents.
