Program Title:

Bachelor of Science in Education: Exceptional Student Education with Reading and ESOL Endorsements

Admissions Criteria:

A.A. Degree from a regionally accredited institution and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5; completion of all lower-division statemandated common prerequisites including EDF2005.

Foreign Language Requirement:

Students who have not taken two years of the same foreign language in high school must complete two semesters or 8 credit hours of the same foreign language at the college level to meet the foreign language requirement.

Graduation Requirements:

Satisfactory completion of all sections of the Florida Teacher Certification Exams (FTCE); these include the Subject Area Exam, Professional Education exam and all four sections of the General Knowledge exam. Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above in all courses attempted including transfer hours Successful completion of Student Teaching Internship (EEX4941) Completion of all lower-division state-mandated common prerequisites including EEX2010 Grade of “C” or better in EEX3103, EEX4221, EEX4601, EEX4264 and EEX4265 and all content area courses within their declared program of study
