And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away, for it was very great.

Mark 16:4
Dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,
Greetings to you in the most precious name of our loving Saviour Jesus Christ! The Easter story is about an innocent lamb that was sacrificed. Our Passover lamb, Jesus Christ was scorned, mocked, crucified, and buried. Did it end there? The most exciting part of the story is His resurrection. He is ALIVE!! Our Saviour is alive. Prophecy was fulfilled when he rose again on the third day. “He is not here, but is risen: remember how He spake unto you when He was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucifies, and the third day rise again.” Luke 23:6 & 7.
As followers of Jesus, we have the resurrection power in us. We do not serve a dead God, But the LIVING Messiah who overcame death. Therefore my brothers and sisters, do not succumb to the dead situations in life rather walk victoriously with the reminder that you are an overcomer and we can overcome any dead situation in the powerful name of our resurrected and living Saviour Jesus Christ. When the disciples of Jesus were wondering among themselves on who would roll away the stone from the tomb of Jesus, they were unaware of the miraculous work God performed. They didn't have to roll away any stone, God had already rolled away the stone. Similarly, in our lives we do not have to be perplexed on who will roll away the stone. Instead, trusting in Jesus the author and finisher of our faith is all it takes to roll away the stones of our lives no matter how big they are. Why? Because our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think At, Sathyam Ministries, it is our prayer that this magazine boosts your faith, encourages your walk with God and uplifts you. While you read these pages, I pray that you experience the resurrection power of Christ in every situation of your life. May God Bless You!

Besides Bengaluru, other cities facing similar situation include Beijing (China), Mexico City (Mexico), Nairobi (Kenya), Karachi (Pakistan), Kabul (Afghanistan) and Istanbul (Turkey), the statement said.
Christian group complains against Illayaraja
BANGALORE NEWS
Bangalore: A fringe Christian group on Tuesday lodged a police complaint against Padma Vibhushan music maestro Illayaraja for what it said was “hurting the community's sentiments” with his comments on Jesus Christ's resurrection. At an event organised by Google in the US, Illayaraja had sung a few lines from his song on Ramana Maharishi and said that the true resurrection happened only in respect of the seer. “There is no other seer in the world who was like Bhagwan Ramana Maharishi.” He said that there was a belief about the resurrection of Christ.
Bengaluru: Bengaluru is among the 10 cities in the world that might be on the verge of an imminent acute water crisis just as the one faced by Cape Town in South Africa, a CSEassisted environment magazine today claimed. "The number of waterbodies in Bengaluru has reduced by 79 per cent due to unplanned urbanisation and encroachment -while built-up area has increased from eight per cent in 1973 to 77 per cent now," claimed Down To Earth, the magazine that Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) helps publish. According to a statement issued by CSE ahead of World Water Day, the water table in Bengaluru has shrunk from 1012 m to 76-91 m in just two decades while the number of extraction wells has gone up from 5,000 to 0.45 million in 30 years. "Cape Town in South Africa is facing the prospect of all its taps running dry by June-July this year," it claimed.
“Whenever I find time, I watch documentaries on YouTube that say that the resurrection of Christ did not happen at all… It is not known whether the resurrection of Christ happened or not. But true resurrection happened in the case of Ramana Maharishi,” Illayaraja said.
Christian prayer homes attacked in Madurai Madurai: Radical Hindu activists alleged attacked prayer homes of Pentecostal Christians at two places in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Police quoted Pastor Ravi Jacob, who lodged a complaint, that Hindu Munnani (front) activists on March 11 burnt some pamphlets and copies of the Bible and abused pastors and the faithful at Koodal Nagar and Sikandar Chavadi areas. Jacob alleged that 10 people came to his house that day, took away copies of the Bible and damaged them. A clip of the group reportedly threatening the people has gone viral.
Bengaluru's population might reach 20.3 million by 2031 and is growing by 3.5 per cent annually, the CSE statement said.
A case was registered two days later against 10 Hindu activists, including three who were identified.
"Many of the world's leading cities will see Cape Town-like water crisis in the not too distant future... 10 cities across the world are facing 'Day Zero' (when taps are expected to run dry), and severe water shortage will hit them in the not-too
The Police said some activists, during initial questioning, denied that they had attacked the homes and had only staged protests against people being allegedly lured for conversion.

The activists said the complaint was a ploy so that some organizations could continue their “illegal conversions.” Police said they had received complaints from the public that some prayer homes were being running illegally, demanding that these be closed. Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu Latin Bishops' Council had condemned the attacks and said it was an effort to “chase away” Christians who had a fundamental right to worship. This was not a law and order problem, but denial of right to worship and destruction of secularism, the Constitution and democracy, Council president Bishop Anthony Pappusamy said in a statement.
Fear and frothing in Whitefield Bangalore Unlike rest of Bengaluru, Whitefielders are terrified of the April showers as Varthur Lake froths over Varthur Lake has seen the reappearance of froth recently and with regular spells of rains, commuters using the bridge on the lake fear that soon it will spill on the road like it did before. Residents are scared that skin infection and respiratory diseases from the highly contaminated froth will strike soon. For the past few days, the lake has been frothing again, possibly due to ongoing construction work on both ends of the lake's waste water weir. On one end, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) is carrying out road construction work and hence, the water has been plugged.
On the other end, Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) is repairing last year's breach. “As the waste water weir has been blocked on both sides, at times the water is released into the lake from a narrow opening. This causes huge turbulence, which in turn results into frothing. Also, the authorities have for long failed to control the discharge of sewage into the lake,” observed Sreenedhi BS, who stays near the lake. An assistant executive engineer of BDA who is in-charge of the area said, “We are constructing walls of the waste water weir that was breached due to the construction work near the lake. On the other side, BBMP is building a road and so, water has been blocked. We are aware of the froth and temporary measures are being put in place to control the same.”

INDIA NEWS Britain to take up 'persecution' of religious minorities in India Britain will raise the issue of alleged persecution of Christians and Sikhs in India during the April meeting of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in London and Windsor, following demands by MPs to take it up with Prime Minster Narendra Modi.During a lengthy debate at the Westminster Hall of the House of Commons on 'Freedom of religion or belief', MPs cited details of alleged persecution in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and elsewhere, and demanded that ministers discuss it when Commonwealth leaders are here for CHOGM.

Extremists demolish wall of Catholic hospital in central India
Targeted attacks on Christians are increasing in parts of the world where they are the minority faith – including long-time U.S. allies India and Saudi Arabia, whose Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with President Trump at the White House.Just as he has met with the Saudi crown prince, President Trump met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit in Manila last November. The president's press secretary reported that their meeting discussed “the comprehensive strategic partnership between the United States and India, and their shared commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific region.” Of the 50 countries where Christians are most persecuted today, as noted in the 2018 Open Doors World Watch List, India is No. 11 and Saudi Arabia is No. 12.
Suspected religious extremists demolished the wall of a Catholic mission hospital and manhandled staff, including nuns, in the latest incident in Madhya Pradesh state, considered a hotbed of anti-Christian violence in central India. Ucanews.com reported some 60 people, with the help of a bulldozer, razed the boundary wall of 44-year-old Pushpa Mission Hospital in the temple town of Ujjain March 12. They blocked its emergency entrance and destroyed equipment, including power generators.Madhya Pradesh had the greatest number of anti-Christian incidents in India last year, according to a report by Persecution Relief, an ecumenical forum that records Christian persecution in India. The state witnessed 52 attacks against Christians in 2017, up from 28 in 2016, the report said.

which ended on March 21, abolished pesky presidential term limits. It was he who convened and headlined a rare top-level party "work" conference on religion in Beijing in May 2016 that set the ball rolling on a fresh focus on religious repression in China. In case there was any doubt about the intentions of Communist Party leaders to focus on "western" religions, six of the top seven Chinese leaders at the time — members of the elite Politburo Standing Committee — were present. The conference was the beginning of a process by the officially atheist party to once more strengthen controls over religion. Last year, it reiterated via new rules that none of its 90 million members are officially allowed to belong to an organized religion.

US pastor Andrew Brunson Accused of Using Christianity as Part of a Terrorist Plot A North Carolina pastor who has been jailed in Turkey will go on trial next month on charges he is a terrorist who used Christianity as his weapon. That's according to the
indictment issued by a Turkish court earlier this week against Andrew Brunson, 50, who has been held by the Turkish government for a year and a half. Brunson, a native of Black Mountain, a small town in western North Carolina, has lived and worked in Turkey for nearly 25 years. He faces a possible sentence of 35 years in prison. Specifically, the Turkish prosecutors charged him with two crimes: membership in an armed terrorist organization and military espionage. “They've basically equated Christianization with terrorism,” said CeCeHeil, executive senior counsel with the American Center for Law and Justice and Brunson's U.S. attorney.
Kidnapped Girl's Church Calls on Buhari to Win Her Release from Boko Haram in Nigeria Islamic extremists in northeast Nigeria retained the only Christian among more than 100 kidnapped girls who were freed last week, prompting the head of her church denomination to call on President Muhammadu Buhari to obtain her release. Boko Haram refused to release Leah Nathan Sharibu, 15, because she would not renounce her faith and convert to Islam, according to released Muslim girls. The Rev. Jeremiah Gado, president of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), said in a press statement on Friday (March 23) that her parents are members of the ECWA congregation in Dapchi, Yobe state, in northeast Nigeria. “We call on the federal government and all its agencies to ensure the immediate release of Leah Sherubu, who is a member of ECWA, without any conditions,” Gado said. “We condemn in strong terms any attempt to forcefully convert anyone from one religion to another. As a church we continue to pray for her release and the release of all abducted Nigerians.”
Pakistan Christian Escapes Death for 'Clearly Fabricated' Blasphemy The case against him – brought by a police officer whose protection he sought against two blackmailers – was “clearly fabricated”, his lawyer said after the 13 March acquittal. Anjum Sandhu, from the north-eastern city of Gujranwala in the Punjab Province, went to the police in May 2015 to report that JavedNaz and Jafar Ali had extorted 20,000 rupees ($200) from him and were demanding a further 50,000 rupees ($500). The two men were arrested, but they told the police that Sandhu, during a discussion at his school, had “used blasphemous words” and that they had a recording of him doing so. 23

Trump Inauguration Bible Heads to Museum

In January 2017, President-elect Trump showed the hard-bound Bible to David Brody of the Christian Broadcasting Network and described an inscription Trump said was made by his mother, Mary Anne MacLeod Trump, who died in 2000. “It's amazing and all written out sort of like so that I always know that it is mine,” Trump said, showing a white flyleaf inscribed with handwritten cursive. “But it is special and I open that and I look at it a lot.” The Bible also has the Trump name etched on the front cover. Upon his graduation from Sunday school — in 1955 at age 9 — it was signed by his pastor and Sunday school teachers. At his inauguration, the president also took the oath of office on the Lincoln Bible, which was also used by President Obama at his 2009 inauguration.
Christian Film 'I Can Only Imagine' is Smashing Success at the Box Office
The recently-released Christian film I Can Only Imagine shocked critics this past weekend at the box office by bringing in $17.1 million even though it was only shown at 1,629 locations. The film is based on the true story of the life of Bart Millard, the frontman of Christian band MercyMe. The film tells the story of how Millard came to write the smash hit “I Can Only Imagine,” which topped both Christian and secular music charts. The film had been expected to bring in between $2 million and $8 million, but completely surpassed these estimates. Interestingly, it also finished just ahead of A Wrinkle in Time, a film that had been stripped of its Christian themes, as ChristianHeadlines.com previously reported.

Madeleine L'Engle's popular children's book A Wrinkle in Time was recently made into a movie. The book contains many Christian themes and also includes several Bible verses and references to Jesus, but the film's screenwriter decided to leave all of that out. According to The Christian Post, Jennifer Lee (who was also the screenwriter for Frozen) said she left out Christian themes because she wanted the

film to be more “inclusive.” "What I looked at, one of the reasons Madeleine L'Engle's [book] ... had that strong Christian element to it wasn't just because she was Christian, but because she was frustrated with things that needed to be said to her in the world and she wasn't finding a way to say it and she wanted to stay true to her faith," Lee explained.
Interest in Bible Translation Has 'Gone Viral' Says Leader of Wycliffe Associates

Archbishop of Canterbury: Church Has Failed to Protect Children from Abuse
Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby told a national commission investigating child sex abuse that his church has not done enough to root out the problem. Welby, the leader of the Church of England and the Anglican Communion — who himself has come under some criticism for his handling of abuse cases — told the commission Wednesday (March 21) that the church needs new powers to safeguard children. He said reading about abuse and listening to survivors was particularly painful because the church had failed victims of abuse by Anglican priests.Welby is the most high-profile witness so far to give evidence to the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse, a commission charged by the British government to head a wide-ranging investigation into the failures of 13 institutions in England and Wales to protect children.
Pastor Pleads for Trump's Help to Rescue U.S. Missionary Jerry Krause
In April 2015 Iowa Pastor Terry Amann met privately with then-presidential candidate Donald Trump. In less than one year from becoming president, Trump successfully helped release Pastor Saeed who had been languishing in an Iranian prison, keeping his promise to a request Amann made when they first met. Last fall, Amann again asked for Trump's help to find a missing U.S. missionary who was kidnapped in Africa in 2013. Newsmax published an open letter he wrote to President Trump on September 7, 2017. Over a month later Amann received a form letter from the U.S. State Department. Then, in November, the Krause family was sent a message from a former U.S. intelligence officer with highlevel contacts in the government telling them that Jerry Krause is alive. With more information about Krause, Amann is once again reaching out to President Trump to help bring Krause home.

Saudi Arabia opened its airspace for the first time to a commercial flight to Israel with the inauguration of an Air India route between New Delhi and Tel Aviv. Flight 139 landed at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport after a seven-and-a-half hour journey, marking a diplomatic shift for Riyadh that Israel says was fuelled by shared concern over Iranian influence in the region. “This is a really historic day that follows two years of very, very intensive work,” Israeli tourism minister Yariv Levin

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is hailing an extraordinary water-generation technology invented in Israel that he declares "can change the world."In a speech to AIPAC in March, the Israeli leader told the story of an African woman who used to walk "eight hours a day to give water to her children -- four hours one way to a well, four hours back."Now, Netanyahu says, an Israeli firm has designed a device that produces clean drinking water from ambient air, literally transforming her life. Netanyahu calls it "technology that improves on Moses.”
