Astrid is a spoiled little girl who feels very lonely in her palace: her only goal is to find friends! She has just lost a tooth and discovers the legend of the little mouse. The versions her entourage offers differ so much that she doesn’t believe one single word. She needs proof, and decides to set some clever traps to capture it. She fails, but to her stupefaction, the little mouse leaves a tube of toothpaste under her pillow. So it does exist! Extremely motivated, Astrid will do anything to catch her first friend!
This graphic and beautiful universe is a reference to 1950s Hanna Barbera cartoons and features a 1920s New York aesthetic.

What if space exploration had begun one century earlier ? A stunning universe that joins Jules Verne’s and Hayao Miyazaki’s styles, with the theme of the conquest of space. At the end of the 19th century, the scientific community believed that space was made of ether, a substance which, if they succeeded in using it as energy, would allow them to explore the skies. In 1868, Marie Dulac, a scientist who had devoted her life to researching ether, went up in a hot air balloon in search of the substance. She never returned. Only her husband, also a professor, and their son Séraphin, kept her research and the information she had amassed.
One year later, a mysterious letter from Bavaria alluding to Marie Dulac’s flight log invites the father and son to the castle of the king of Bavaria. The king, either a madman or a visionary, wants to finance the father’s search for ether. At the same time, Bismark, the prince of neighboring Prussia, is going to do all he can to discredit the king of Bavaria, placing the kingdom under his tutelage. In this first volume, Séraphin, along with his father and their allies, will
build an Ethership and begin to realize that Bismark has grand plans.

Second volume: September 2014 – 64 pages – 220 x 285 mm - €12.50
October 2014 – 128 pages – 235 x 275 mm - €22
The return of Soledad! Whether spicy or tender, Soledad is always full of affection, empathy, and a great gift of observation, and she alternates between knowing advice and cultural tips. This practical guide on life succeeds in offering a delicious, modern portrait of a world that is decidedly full of surprises.
Guillaume Sorel takes on an essential classic of fantastic literature, illustrating the complete text. He offers us an interpretation of Alice far from that of the good little girl in Walt Disney; a cheeky little lady loyal to the text of Lewis Carroll. In
these thirty original illustrations, you will find all the famous scenes: the fall down the rabbit hole, the pool of water, the advice from the caterpillar, and the White Rabbit who is late, of course.
