International School of Bucharest Residential Summer Camp 24 June - 7 July Age 9-15 The younger the learner, the better is is to learn English.Children learn languages much faster than adults as physically the brain is more receptive at a younger age. At ISB, we are happy to offer every kid of every age the opportunity to go beyond in English in an international environment. Registration for ISB 2019 Residential Summer Camp is available until 15th of June. 24-30 June: English Camp 1-7 July : ICT and Maths Camp (All activities are held in English) ISB Residential Summer Camps are dynamic, instructional, interactive, full of laughter, perfect for children aged 9-15 at all levels of comprehension from beginners to native speakers. All activities and courses will be run by experienced English speaking teachers and staff. Every Friday 14.00-16.00 there is an assembly where the kids exhibit what they learn throughout the week. All parents and outsiders are welcome to join and watch our assemblies. Every Monday and Friday, in the morning until lunch there is swimming course at Alexandreea Club. The day programmes run at ISB Campus. Girls live in school and sleeping in ISB boarding house, while boys go to ICHB boarding house to sleep at night. Residential house tutors live in the houses with the students. Rooms have two, three or four beds. Bathrooms are shared. We cater for any religious, special diets or allergies. The two-week residential camp provides the following services: -2 swimming sessions per week -Transport for swimming in both ways -All meals everyday -All resources -All sports and excursion -Cook it yourself activity and fair -Dinner out-Taste of food at home in different cultures -Boarding house accommodation -Airport transfer service from Henri Coanda to Pantelimon is 100 Ron per student each way. -Certificates Check-in and check-out: You can check-in from 5pm on 23rd to 1pm on 24th of June and check-out from 5pm on Sunday to the next day until 1pm . Themes of The Weeks: 24-30 June English & Art Camp During this week you are going to improve your English skills with a fun and interactive course. You are going to spend most of the time outside playing instructional games that will increase your confidence when speaking English, that will develop teamwork and negotiation skills. We will also boost your creativity with group storytelling, art and crafts, and role-plays. You will develop your vocabulary while drawing, singing, watching videos, reading stories and doing physical activities. Here is the list of the activities that will be held in these weeks. - Games- ​ including physical activity, vocabulary, speaking, writing, board games


- ​Mazes-​ critical thinking and decision making, negotiating with others - ​Group storytelling - ​My dream place​- descriptive writing and drawing - ​Mr Bean making a sandwich​- inappropriate behaviour role play (annoying situations and how to politely approach people) - ​songs-​ karaoke - ​stories ​from different cultures 1-7 July ICT & Maths Camp All about technology and Maths! In this week ​you will design, assemble and program robots to complete awesome challenges. You will also ​learn basic and advanced techniques for creating code for computers, iPhone®, iPad®, Android™, robots, video games and more.
