GEOMETRIC DESIGNS The Art Deco era is a perennial influence in diamond jewellery design, and especially now that we’ve re-entered the ’20s. One hundred years on from the initial design movement, the geometric motifs that made Art Deco so different to the organic curves of Art Nouveau are still proving influential. Modern updates make use of ultra-fine settings and minimal metal, allowing the sparkle of the diamonds to take centre stage. —SARAH ROYCE-GREENSILL
