Ladakh is situated between two plates divided into different Himalayan ranges. For past years some changes are happening in the Himalayan ranges as the plates are changing their fault’s direction and being prone zone for earthquakes. A similar pattern is seen in the Nepal earthquake that occurred in 2015, it was believed such a catastrophic event would never occur in Nepal.
