MAYOR OF LONDON’S REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE
City Hall annually pays tribute to the servicemen and women who died in active service in the two World Wars. As part of this year’s ceremony, faith representatives were invited to say a short prayer from their own tradition. ISKCON-London (representing the Hindu Forum of Britain) was invited to represent the Hindu faith through a pre-recorded prayer delivered by Jai Nitai dasa. This was relayed into the live stream on the event day, Friday 6th November, and also on the actual day, Wednesday 11th November.

Westminster City Council requested Jai Nitai dasa to prepare a short prayer for Diwali to include in their online newsletter ‘My Westminster’ on Friday 13th November. He shared the following prayer: “May this Diwali offer you hope. May a clear path be lit to guide you out of the darkness.
