During the lockdown, Jai Nitai dasa and Bhava Bhakti devi dasi undertook a reading vow to read Srimad-Bhagavatam three times a week, at least for 30 minutes, from Cantos 1 to 12. These readings are shared live on the ISKCON-London Facebook page on Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week at 4.00pm.
Recently one young man who watched one of the readings on Facebook, left a comment saying he was very inspired and ordered 28 Srimad-Bhagavatam Canto Two books for his business clients. The books he was sent were the special edition copies with Sri Sri Radha-Londonisvara on the front cover.
Jai Nitai dasa and Bhava Bhakti devi dasi were featured in the ‘Someone of Soho’ art exhibition, by artist Richard Piercy, which focuses on people who live and work in Soho. The portraits of Jai Nitai dasa and Bhava Bhakti devi dasi were displayed on a series of digital light boxes in December on the side of the Flannels building on Oxford Street, one of Europe’s busiest shopping streets. Shoppers not only got to see the two devotee photos but also got to read ‘Hare Krishna’ written under their photos. The exhibition ran from the 5th to 13th December.
