This deviously delicious sci-fi rock musical follows hapless floral assistant, Seymour, who spends his days tending to sad little flowers as well as his wilting hope of a better life beyond skid row. Suddenly after an unexpected “total eclipse of the sun,” Seymour discovers a new breed of plant — a cross between a Venus flytrap and an avocado!

*Not valid on previously purchased tickets, with other offers, or on preview performances. Subject to availability. THE WORLD'S MOST RAVENOUS PLANT IS BACK WITH A NEW BITE! After displaying the new find in the shop window, Seymour is catapulted to fame as the caretaker of the succulent sensation, and the whole city is buzzing! But this quickly-growing bloom isn’t as innocent as he once thought. This carnivorous, smart-talking plant has an insatiable thirst for human blood, making Seymour question just how far he’ll go for the life of his dreams.

Little of Shop of Horrors is a landmark musical that has made millions of audiences laugh, scream, and give up gardening for good!

LEO This month is a good time to shift your energy away from the things you can’t control and toward what you can. Remember: letting go can be equally as empowering as taking the lead.

SCORPIO Be bold with your feelings! Your opinions are just as important as everyone else’s, and while silence can be powerful, you’ve been quiet for too long. When you feel passionately about something, say so!

CAPRICORN Do you fear backlash when you let go of your routine? Remember: a lack of structure can be your best asset. Don’t lose all the structure you’ve built, but learn to let loose a little bit!

AQUARIUS Innovation and progression are your games. You refuse to conform, and these are some of your most compelling traits. At times, it’s important to regard tradition before leaping further—you can learn the most from how history tends to repeat itself.

PISCES Your sister sign, Virgo, is in the spotlight this month along with Libra. Now, it’s time to focus on being less dreamy than you’re used to. Stay diligent, focused and clear-minded. Practicing this will bring you great rewards, and soon!

LIBRA Diplomacy can lead you to being indecisive. Opposing viewpoints can be very valuable as context, but this month, relying on your gut for the answers will serve you well.

GEMINI Let’s face it—we all know Gemini are the true chatterboxes of the zodiac! How can you focus on using speech as a grounding force during this communicationruled month?

VIRGO Happy Virgo season! This is your time to let plans ow more freely, since you rule grounded in communication. Make your spreadsheets and to-do lists more dynamic or rearrange your home space—beautiful things can come with the slightest of changes.

TAURUS This month, consider how your stubborn nature helps you move through life, and also how it affects your relation ships. As an earth sign, it’s not always bad to be like water uidity can work best sometimes.

CANCER You often nurture others, but this is the time to be a little more selfish. You may want to start by thinking about your own, personal wants and needs, then listing them in order of priority.

SAGITTARIUS As a Sagittarius, you love to explore, but you can also operate very spontaneously. How can you gear your attention towards being more organized about your pursuits?

As a sign ruled by Mars, this month is due to bring you rapid changes regarding your career. Don’t hesitate to take these opportunities, but be sure to take them one at a time so as not to overload your plate!

PLACING VALUE ON THE SMALLER SHOTS Best Practices for Putting

I ’ m known for saying that understanding the fundamentals makes golf more fun. Today, I want to share what I consider to be the five fundamentals of putting.JackNicklaus also acknowledged the importance of the putt, saying, “If you learn to putt correctly, your driver will improve.” I am inclined to agree. Here’s what I’ve learned in my decades on the green:

The feel of the stroke is not unlike two dancers that ow gracefully together. Once the stroke is started with your shoulders, it is as if the putter is swinging on its own. The shoulder motion moves in harmony with the putter, swing ing like a pendulum.

Harvey Penick said, “Eat dinner with good putters.” His advanced students would ask him why. He would reply that good putters have lighthearted attitudes, they have been taught well and they know how to relax under pressure. I would add that good putters are also more likely to go into the next shot with a smile on their Whateverface. it is you need to work on, a ualified instructor can go a long way towards getting you on solid footing with the fundamentals of the game. Come see me anytime!

Carolina’s PGA Teacher of the Year, Doug Weaver is the Director of Instruction at the Palmetto Dunes Golf Academy. Volunteer for a free lesson and some will win prizes! Call (866) 455-6890 or go to www.palmettodunes.com for more information.

2 .

When we aim the putter at the target (not always the hole), the toe line is aiming parallel to the yellow line (to the left for a right-handed player).

.

Proper posture promotes the proper path. In golf, we bend from the hips, not the back. Eyes are over the ball, elbows are bent, and forearms are in alignment with the shaft.

1

4 .

Your stance is the width of your hips and shoulders. For the best possible balance, feet should be under the knees and shoulders.

Grip pressure should always be light, as if you are holding a ripe banana, or a tube of toothpaste with the cap off. You don’t want to get toothpaste everywhere!

Capt. Peter explained earlier that when the water was really hot, the small fish living in the shallows off the deep channels would suffer oxygen deprivation and come to the surface for air, making them an easy target for the hungry tarpon.

Caleb and the fish were both tired now, and as he worked the fish near the skiff, Peter donned a glove and remarked, “He’s not going to like this,” as he grabbed the tarpon by the lower jaw. As predicted, the tarpon thrashed and bolted away. Caleb

The fish then launched a series of acro batic aerial displays that were awesome to behold. A couple more searing runs were followed by pulling the boat in a circle, only to make a couple of dazzling jumps right beside the boat.

Charters T he sun was a warm, golden orb barely above the horizon, a dim light on a perfectly calm ocean, as the thin clouds acted as gauzy curtains.

Around us, tarpon boiled everywhere, with an occasional slurp confirming that they were feeding on the “guppies,” as Capt. Peter called them.

My son, Caleb, and I had been here with Capt. Peter the morning before to no avail, but as Caleb made his first cast this day, it was game on! Setting the hook sideways, “because their mouth points up,” just as Capt. Peter had directed in his raspy British accent, Caleb’s rod bent double and the drag screamed in protest.

“Bloodygroaned.lucky he’s not real big, or you’d be doing this for another hour or two,” Peter said with a raspy laugh. At 25 minutes into the fight, Capt. Peter successfully lipped the tarpon, removed the hook and let Caleb hold him for the pic. Revived shortly there after, the 60-pound tarpon swam off lazily, and we had accomplished our mission — getting Caleb his first tarpon!

You see, Caleb has fished with me since he could walk, and has mated hundreds of hours for me on my charter boats. He has seen many tarpon here in the Lowcountry as a crewman, but never as an angler. It was a bucket list item for a 17-year-old and is now a cherished memory for a proud dad. Watching him skillfully battle that tarpon brought home years of learning that culminated with a great angler and an awesome fish battling it out. By any mea sure, that’s a priceless experience.
