The winners of the “Best Hats” were to Bill Milligan, Wanda Bishop and Pat Dunning. Our lucky Social Raffle winner was a newcomer to Tara Woods, Linda Elliot. The two bouquets of red roses were won by Ken Clark and Joann Stovall. Congratulations to everyone.
If Nyquist wins the second race in the Triple Crown in the Preakness on Saturday, May 21st, watch for a poster to attend the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 11th. Last year we watched American Pharoah take the Triple Crown for the first time in 37 years. Even if you’re not an avid follower of horse racing, this is an exciting event to watch with your Tara Woods friends and neighbors.

It was a fun time at the Tara Woods Kentucky Derby Party on Saturday, May 7th. Everyone brought great hors d’oeuvres to share and the Mint Juleps were excellent. Thank you to everyone who helped us put this together, from setting up in the morning to cleaning up afterward. Your help is greatly appreciated.
