e have started 2021 with renewed optimism, yet we all are still addressing the lingering challenges and necessary adjustments to combat the COVID crisis. At the Club for the benefit of everyone, we all must remain focused and vigilant about the virus and health practices to protect all including wearing a mask, staging outdoor dining options, social distancing, washing hands regularly, and being respectful of others and their well-being. In short, keep doing what we’ve been doing at Isleworth. Through these lovely winter months, the entire Isleworth team will continue to work to create the safest and most enjoyable environment for our entire community. This year has already seen some great events and Member moments created with Fenders & Food Trucks, Fire & Wine, Mixed Calcutta and Fuzzy Wuzzy Family Night.

Your support of the Club is greatly appreciated. The Club remains incredibly healthy in these challenging times, with waitlists for all Member classifications. As we move to celebrate our 35th anniversary, I am looking forward to announcing even more Club improvements and enhancements as we continue to strive to make Isleworth one of the finest club communities in the world. Some Members have recently inquired about the listing of the Champions Point estate and I want to share with Members here it is just a normal, pragmatic decision for the family at this stage. Isleworth continues to be a source of pride for our ownership, the entire Lewis family and Tavistock Group, our staff and of course, our Member families. As we enter the busier season and with the special anniversary in mind, the team has been working hard on ideas for a great set of events for you to utilize and enjoy the Club including: • February – Super Bowl Party, Chinese New Year Family Night, Valentine’s Dinner, Men's Member-Guest and Tennis & Tequila.

A CUP OF HISTORY We are proud to exclusively serve Julius Meinl coffee at Isleworth. Its origins began in 1862, when Julius Meinl opened a spice shop in downtown Vienna, Austria, where he sold green coffee beans, cocoa, tea, spices, rice and sugar. His son, Julius Meinl II, developed a coffee roasting process where the beans no longer came into contact with coal gases, freeing the coffee of aftertaste and keeping its full, natural aroma. Over time, Julius Meinl became the largest coffee roaster and importer of Europe and is now selling coffees and teas in more than 70 countries, including the United States. Its original motto, "How may I serve you?" remains to this day and fifth generation family members are still actively in the business. We are excited to introduce a new junior golf development program, Isleworth Junior Golf Association (IJGA). IJGA is targeted to young golfers between the ages of 7 and 14 years old and will concentrate on teaching the important aspects of golf such as etiquette, the rules of golf and golf management while still having fun. We will also focus on Drive, Chip and Putt to encourage kids to get into local and regional competitions. Heart-Healthy Recipe: C H O C O L AT E AV O C A D O CHIA PUDDING While avocado may not be the first ingredient that comes to mind when it involves dessert, its creamy texture can really enhance a sweet treat. When paired with chocolate and chia seeds, the combination creates a luscious and flavorful pudding packed with heart-healthy benefits. Avocado helps to lower LDL levels while raising the amount of HDL cholesterol in your body. Chia seeds contain large amounts of fiber and omega 3-fatty acids. Chocolate, aside from being delicious, is rich in antioxidants and can reduce risk of heart disease.

FEBRUARY 1 - 28 In honor of American Heart Month in February, we invite you to participate in this fun, free, four-week virtual fun run/walk to promote heart health! Virtual run/walk works exactly the same as any other type of run/walk but the difference is that you can run/walk the race at any pace, at any location – on a treadmill, outside or even in another country! All you have to do is enter the race and provide evidence that you have done it – it is that simple. Each week will start a new challenge, and you can choose to participate in all four weeks or select the weeks of your choosing. A weekly prize will be given for the participant who logs the most miles, and the participant who has logged the most miles at the end of the month will win the grand prize to be honored as the Isleworth Fun Run/Walk Grand Champion!
