International School of Paris Educating for Complexity

Education

The International School of Paris is the only school in France accredited to offer the programs of the International Baccalaureate from nursery through Grade 12.

Location

The school enjoys a unique location in the heart of one of the world’s great cities, with two (and soon three) state-of-the-art campuses in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.

Future

In October 2016, ISP launched a new strategic plan, with a renewed mission, vision and guiding statements to keep the school challenging, authentic, relevant and influential.

History

Founded in 1964, ISP has more than 50 years of experience in international education and preparing our students for further scholarship, service and adventure.

Life at ISP Language

Diversity

International education requires exceptional language learning. Our students stretch their abilities every day, in new languages and in their mother tongues.

Engaging with and appreciating difference is a powerful learning experience. ISP is a vibrant community where no nationality predominates, students feel secure and welcome, and respect for the individual is paramount.

Inquiry

Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Our students use creativity and imagination in their learning, and we, as educators, do the same.

Wellbeing

A strong academic program is based on a firm commitment to student wellbeing. Our students develop the agility, resources and imagination they need to live productively and sustainably, and to make the best choices for themselves.

Experiential learning

Students should discover what they can learn by doing. Our students contribute, collaborate, and learn that they can make a difference in the world.

New beginnings at ISP! ISP has acquired a third campus, at 45 rue Cortambert in the 16th arrondissement. The purchase will allow us to make great strides toward incorporating research, inquiry and innovation into our learning – a pillar of our new Strategic Plan. It will also enhance the student experience by allowing us to add a media center, art and music studios, performance and assembly spaces, and a cafeteria. After significant renovation, our goal is to have the buildings ready to welcome students in September 2018.
