Moral Textile makes its presence felt with its FR, blackout and custom made fabrics

Moral Contract offers wide range of FR, blackout, custom made fabrics and antibacterial fabrics to the hospitality market.

Exporting its products to more than 70 countries, Turkish manufacturer Moral Textile produces contract fabrics for most of the international hotel chains. The company also manufactures special products for boutique projects all over the world. Hasan Moral, Board Member of Moral Textile, informed about the company’s activities on the contract area.

Could you brief us your company’s facilities? Moral Textile is one of the leading home textile manufacturers in Turkey. Our company started as a family business in 1950’s and it operates in Bursa Dosab Organized Industry Zone since 1985. The company mainly specializes in curtain and decorative fabric production. With its updated production capability, the company offers wide range of collections to the world markets. Moral Textile exports 90% of its production to more than 70 countries all over the world.

Could you mention about your product range? Besides its wide range of curtain and decorative fabric options, Moral Textile has different brands and

services for its customers. Moral Contract brand offers wide range of FR, blackout and custom-made fabrics to the hospitality market. We offer certified inherent FR fabrics in world standards such as M1, BS, EN, IMO, etc. Also we do have antibacterial fabrics in that range. Moral Digital offers custom made wide with digital print service to contract projects. Also, the company offers a lot of base cloth alternatives and custom produced base grounds for special requests. Moral Textile offers roll and cut services with its Mode Home brand; the company distributes its curtain fabric collection to world markets from different distribution points in EU and Turkey. The company presents fast and flexible services to the market. Latest and newest range of Moral is Upholstery collection; the company launched its new upholstery collection coordinated with curtain products in last Heimtextil edition and it is planning to grow in that line. With that range, we are planning to offer full package to the contract projects.

What are the specifications of your blackout and dimout fabrics? We produce blackout and dimout fabrics for residential and contract markets. We have different types of dimout option in width up to 320cm and we have FR and antibacterial options for special projects. Besides light transmittance advantages our dimout and blackout fabrics give acoustic and thermal insulate advantages to the end users.

Could you mention about your R&D and design works? R&D and design studies are among the most important areas of our company. We have a big R&D team in our company and we

constantly follow the innovations in the sector and continue our work on our collections. Our dynamic and creative design team and our experienced production team works together to add innovative and creative qualities in our new ranges. Also in our R&D department; we are continuing the Ministry approved Design and Product Development project and planning to be an R&D center in the near future.

What are the services that you offer to the contract industry? We work with various interior design companies and their suppliers in the most of the projects. With our partners we produce contract fabrics for most of the international hotel chains and we also produce special products for boutique projects all over the world.

What are the future plans of Moral Textile? Do you have any latest projects? Our company continues to develop and grow in its sector. As the 3rd generation, we will continue to increase our investments in R&D activities with our company experience and production capability.

Could you introduce us your innovative products? We work on recycle fabrics and FR recycle fabrics for contract projects. Environmental awareness continues to increase and we want to contribute to this by using recycling raw materials in our products. Hopefully in the next Heimtextil edition we would like to launch that collection to the market.

How many countries are you exporting now? Are you planning to extend your export markets? We export our products to more than 70 countries all over the world. Our main markets are Europe and America. We have been working with most of the key markets for our industry and we are willing to improve our market share in that markets.

Which fairs do you attend to? We do exhibit in main fairs such as Heimtextil, Evteks, Mood and Como fair. We think that fairs are important for meeting with our customers and introduce our newest innovations to them. We will be in Heimtextil 2020 with our newest ranges.

Turkish Airlines began to offer its new sleeping set created in collaboration with Zorlu Tekstil to Business Class passengers on intercontinental flights. Comprising a blanket, a sleeping pad, and a pillow, the new and stylish Flow Sleeping Set aims to offer a healthier and higher quality environment for sleep during long flights with the "Flow" pattern which expressed Turkish Airlines' dynamic and rejuvenating, smooth and energetic, and seamless service. The "Flow" concept not only lends its name to Turkish Airlines' new visual brand identity, designed by the airline's Directorate of Corporate Communications, but also embodies its philosophy. The sleeping set includes a soft blanket which supports air flow and helps maintain the ideal body temperature, a special sleeping pad, and a pillow for extra comfort.
