2019 marks the 58th Edition of the popular and powerful Salone Internazionale del Mobile event that will be held in April between the 9th and the 14th! It is a design showcase that has always mixed business with culture, shaping the history of design and furnishing yesterday, today and tomorrow. It is a global platform for truly top-notch products with the emphasis on innovation. The Salone Internazionale del Mobile is split into three style categories: Classic: Tradition in the Future, which draws on the values of tradition, craftsmanship and skill in the art of making furniture and objects in the classic style; Design, products that speak of functionality, innovation and boast a great sense of style and xLux, the section devoted to timeless luxury re-read in a contemporary key. SaloneSatellite It is an international event in the design world dedicated to the under-35s. SaloneSatellite was the first event to focus on young designers, instantly becoming the unrivalled place for interface with manufacturers, talent scouts and the most promising young designers, and since 1998 runs again concurrently with the Salone del Mobile.Milano. Its creation was essentially a declaration of faith in the creative potential of designers under 35. Many of the prototypes presented in the previous editions have gone into production, and many of the 10,000 designers who have taken part over the years, along with 270 international design schools, are now big names on the design scene. Indeed, SaloneSatellite’s challenge has always been to imagine the shape of design to come and to try and imagine how future generations will forge a new, perfect balance between project, function and beauty. Started in 2010, the SaloneSatellite Award is a further opportunity to facilitate contact between young designers and businesses.

Evimteks breaks through with confident steps of being the leader in its field!

Evimteks has become one of the best and most trustworthy companies in the textile industry with the combination of young and vigorous team with innovative perspective and chasing actual technology for production infrastructure.

Providing beautiful and high quality products to the contract market worldwide, Evimteks was admitted into Villa Erba, Proposte fair this year. We took opinions of Türk Ceyhan, CEO of the firm about their admission to inside Proposte venue.

Could you mention about the position of Evimteks in the contract industry? Evimteks rapidly grows in the contract business market. This market is getting much more important for us day by day. Contract business articles take about 30% of all of our production. For now, 2019 started very good for us especially in the USA contract market.

What are the main features of your products? Evimteks is distinguishable from other manufacturers also in contract business through our unique quality that can’t be imitated. We have a big range of stock for FR inherent yarns and plenty of colorings. We have FR inherent yarn with brand and no

name yarns which are able to pass European standards M1, FR UNE EN 13772/13773 also US standards Nfpa 701, etc. Besides, we have also technical ability of testing our own products in our facility.

What do you say about your design and R&D works? The philosophy of Evimteks depends on unique and creative high-end qualities managed by a dynamic team with professional services. Our ambition is to improve our contract fabrics to be well known and most wanted all over the world. We have a very large design department. There is also a big technical team working with us to improve production and quality check. We have a big laboratory

in which we test our production’s FR standards, washing, light and rubbing fastness, etc. to check our products for features as being easy to use for end users.

How often do you renew your collections?

We, as Evimteks, follow the fashion trends of upcoming years very closely, also our customers’ demands shape the way of our new collections themes. Our design team works whole year to add new articles in our collection. We have spreading out our new collections mainly for Heimtextil fair in Frankfurt, Proposte Fair in Como and Evteks in Istanbul.

Which countries do you export? Our main export market is Europe, especially Germany, England, Holland, France and Italy. We also export to America, Australia and Japan.

How do you evaluate the development of Turkish contract textiles? Contract business in Turkish textile is improving day by day. We, as Evimteks, brought a fresh breath to the contract industry with brand new creative designs. Evimteks has an extensive range of commercial plain designs and inspiring jacquard fabrics, original designs on embroidery and laser cut designs in its Contract Collection.

You are one of the six Turkish companies participating in the Proposte Fair and taking place in the Villa Erba. What do you want to say about this?

The doors of Villa Erba were opened to Evimteks as a result of our unique, high-end qualities and professional service for customers all over the world. Could you mention about your preparations for this important fair?

After the Heimtextil exhibition, we had a limited time but we worked hard and prepared a big new collection. Our Collection involves mostly in natural fiber high-end fabrics and big range of FR qualities.
